Not a Family-Friendly Place – Very Disappointing Experience

We visited Apichada Bar with our three small children, hoping to enjoy a drink and a relaxed evening. Unfortunately, we were confronted in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner by the DJ – or as he called himself, the “music manager.” He told us that our children should “be quiet” and that we should “intervene,” even though our kids were sitting calmly and not causing any disturbance whatsoever.

His attitude was unprofessional, arrogant, and completely out of line. He claimed to be the manager of the venue, which made the situation even more disappointing. With someone like this representing the place, it’s definitely not suitable for families.

To be fair, the waitstaff were very kind and even apologized for his behavior, which we appreciated. However, we chose to leave the bar immediately because of this man’s unacceptable conduct.

Bottom line: This is not a place where families feel welcome – and as long as that so-called manager is around, we cannot recommend...

We just visited apichada view point bar and it was amazing! From their observation deck you have a 180° view over Ban Tai and you can also see the adjacent island Koh Samui. They play loud (roughly 90db (above speaking level)) techno music so this wouldn't be a place to have a long intense conversation.

Small beers were 80 baht each which is roughly what you should expect at viewpoint places like this one. Fruit shakes we're 100 baht.

Unfortunately for us, when we were there there was a very inconsiderate Russian family that let their kids run around yelling for about 2 hours. The staff tried to do something about it but that...

Very nice people running the place! Wanted to come here as I thought the view would be good and I was impressed came for sunset. They have amazing food and drinks! The family running the place are definitely what made it for me. Adding to the whole experience! The music is well adapted to the setting great choice loved it. The view shoes the busier side of the island shoeing the forest and little houses scattered throughout with a coup’e fires in the distance adding to the view!

Definitely recommended making the trip here I’ll be coming...
