Baan Sawadee — Hotel in Ko Samui

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Emma’s stunning villa on Koh Samui for one month, and it truly exceeded all our expectations.

The villa itself was beautifully designed—simple, minimalistic, and incredibly comfortable. The standout feature was the large, crystal-clear pool, which was regularly cleaned and perfect for refreshing swims during the day when we didn’t feel like heading to the beach. The villa was fully equipped with everything we needed, including excellent beds, spotless bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen.

The location was ideal for a relaxing and recharging vacation. Nestled in a calm and private area, it offered complete serenity and security. Despite the peaceful setting, the villa was conveniently located near great beaches and everything we needed, including shops and restaurants. Chaweng was just a short 30-minute drive away, making it easy to explore when we wanted more activity.

Cleanliness and maintenance were top-notch. Weekly cleanings were included, and the housekeeping team was outstanding. They left the villa spotless every time, with fresh bedsheets, towels, and even helped organize our belongings in the rooms.

Special mention goes to our incredible host, Emma, who made our stay truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond, preparing a detailed presentation with a map and must-visit places on the island. She helped us organize a private boat trip and provided Google location links for everything we needed, from restaurants to attractions. Emma's warm and attentive approach made us feel so welcome and well cared for throughout our stay.

We have just returned from a fantastic 16 night stay at Villa Baan Sawadee. Our host Emma was excellent right from the initial booking of our holiday. She kept in touch with us through a text group by sending pictures, videos and local information which we found really helpful. On arrival she warmly greeted us with a homemade refreshing drink and fruit from her garden. Emma also organised a takeaway as we had a late arrival. The next day Emma visited us and gave us a map where she listed the best restaurants and activities. She also accompanied us to the beach where she pointed out the best local restaurants which were within walking distance. The villa itself was amazing. It was very clean and tidy with a great sized swimming pool and patio area. Each of the four bedrooms had their own bathrooms and were air conditioned. The villa is set in a lovely quiet location within an easy ten minute stroll to the beach. Cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Emma arranged all of our excursions, including a hike with her friends to the highest point on the island. I with my family staid at Baan Sawadee for 5 months (from middle November 2021 to middle of April 2022). I can say that we enjoyed every day of stay in Baan Sawadee. First of all huge thanks to Emma - she is really kind and welcome house owner. With Emma you can discover so many good places around the island (5 stars). House is really suitable for 5 people family. There were even 2 weeks when we staid at Baan Sawadee company of 9 people and every one had enough space and things to do (5 stars). Location of Baan Sawadee is excellent only 7 to 10 minutes walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Samui island - Bang Po. At Bang Po beach you can find and enjoy many Thai restaurants as well as very good cafes and bars. Only 15 to 20 minutes you can reach every thing for your daily living (hospitals, dentistry, markets, grocery stores, wine shops etc.) (5 stars). My summary is that Baan Sawadee is really nice and comfortable villa to stay....
