Koh Samui Tower — Hotel in Ko Samui

This hotel is an absolute disaster and by far the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was utterly neglected and filthy. However, what awaited us in the room was nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms were infested with insects—gigantic lizards and spiders were everywhere. We couldn’t sleep for even a moment because we spent all night trying to fend off these creatures. Resting or feeling even remotely comfortable in such conditions was impossible.

The hotel staff was equally appalling. The owner was not only rude but intoxicated for most of our stay, which made any communication and problem-solving utterly impossible. Instead of helping, he completely ignored our requests, making an already terrible situation even worse.

The nightmare didn’t stop there. The room’s furnishings were completely broken—doors barely closed, handles were falling off, and the bathroom was in a disgusting state. Everything in this hotel appeared abandoned and in total disrepair. Even the pool, which looked decent in the photos, was filthy and unkempt, with water that looked outright repulsive.

This place is unfit for human accommodation, and the fact that it’s still available on booking platforms is outrageous. We felt deceived and unsafe for the entirety of our three-night stay. If we had had another option, we would have left within the first hour.

I strongly warn everyone against staying at this hotel—it was the worst experience of my life and caused far more stress than any trip should. Avoid this place at all costs because it’s a complete waste of your time, money, and mental health. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Platforms like Booking.com should immediately remove such hotels from their listings. Absolutely not recommended!

Ten hotel to absolutna katastrofa i zdecydowanie najgorsze miejsce, w jakim kiedykolwiek miałem nieszczęście się zatrzymać. Już od momentu przyjazdu było widać, że obiekt jest całkowicie zaniedbany i brudny. To jednak, co zastaliśmy w pokoju, można nazwać tylko jednym słowem – koszmar. Pokoje były zainfekowane przez insekty – gigantyczne jaszczurki i pająki były dosłownie wszędzie. Nie mogliśmy przespać ani chwili, ponieważ przez całą noc musieliśmy walczyć z tym robactwem. W takich warunkach nie da się odpocząć ani poczuć choćby odrobiny komfortu.

Obsługa hotelu była równie tragiczna. Właściciel nie tylko był nieuprzejmy, ale przez większość czasu pijany, co całkowicie uniemożliwiało jakąkolwiek komunikację i rozwiązanie problemów. Zamiast pomóc, ignorował nasze prośby, jeszcze bardziej pogarszając i tak już beznadziejną sytuację.

Niestety, to nie koniec koszmaru. Wyposażenie pokoju było kompletnie zniszczone – drzwi ledwo się zamykały, klamki odpadały, a łazienka była w opłakanym stanie. Wszystko w tym hotelu wyglądało, jakby od lat nikt się tym nie zajmował. Nawet basen, który na zdjęciach wydawał się przyzwoity, w rzeczywistości był brudny i zaniedbany, a woda w nim wyglądała wręcz odpychająco.

To miejsce nie nadaje się do przyjmowania ludzi, a fakt, że nadal jest dostępne na platformach rezerwacyjnych, to skandal. Przez całe trzy noce naszego pobytu czuliśmy się oszukani i zagrożeni. Gdybyśmy mieli inną opcję, wyprowadzilibyśmy się już po pierwszej godzinie.

Ostrzegam wszystkich przed tym hotelem – to był najgorszy pobyt w moim życiu, który przyniósł więcej stresu niż jakikolwiek wyjazd powinien. Omijajcie to miejsce szerokim łukiem, bo szkoda waszego czasu, pieniędzy i zdrowia psychicznego. Gdybym mógł, dałbym ocenę ujemną! Platformy takie jak Booking.com powinny natychmiast usuwać takie hotele z oferty. Absolutnie...

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for about a year. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner who made us feel welcome and right at home. The entire staff is very warm and friendly and treated us like family. The room was very large, spacious and comfortable with king size beds, a fully equipped kitchen and large balcony with a beautiful sea view. Katie in reception always greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. When we didn't feel like cooking, Bo prepared delicious food in the restaurant downstairs and delivered it to our room. You have to try the Massaman! As we were long term residents, the housekeeping staff cleaned our room twice a week and provided drinking water. They do a great job! A heartfelt thank you to Pieter, Sahli and the entire staff! Stayed here for our first five nights on Ko Samui and we were really impressed with the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was very spacious. Our room had a bathtub with a view overlooking the island and the sea, which was a great place to relax. The living area was very comfortable for hanging out and watching Netflix when the rains passed through. Felt like home while staying here and everyone at the tower was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Ate once at the on site restaurant as well and felt it was reasonably priced with good food options. The pool has a great view as well and is a good depth. Lots of good restaurants in the area as well, although would recommend having a scooter while staying here as it’s a bit off the main road. Maenam beach is a short scooter ride away and it was one of our favorite beaches for relaxing...
