The Staff – Exceptional in Every Way The team at Moonstone Koh Samui provided world-class hospitality from start to finish. They were attentive, friendly, and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect stay. Whether it was arranging excursions, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting us with warm smiles every day, their service was impeccable.

The Food – A Culinary Delight Every meal was a masterpiece. The in-house chef prepared exquisite Thai and international dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh seafood and indulgent desserts, every bite was a delight. They also catered to our dietary preferences with ease, making each meal feel like a five-star dining experience.

The Villa – Pure Luxury The villa itself is spacious, elegantly designed, and immaculately maintained. The private infinity pool overlooking the ocean was a highlight, offering the most breathtaking sunset views. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the state-of-the-art amenities, was carefully thought out to provide ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Beautiful place with great amenities and great service!! We are a group of three families with 8 kids. Day 1 on arrival, we were met and greeted by 2 friendly drivers who picked us from the airport and straight to the villa all within 20 minutes. Swimming pool is of good size and provided hours of pure joy in the sun with the kids. All rooms are ensuite with nice layout and plenty of wardrobe spaces for all your clothes etc. All rooms except for one are sea facing.. but you won't feel the difference because you'll be spending most of the time by the pool or in the entertainment areas like the Theater, or around the kitchen long table talking away... The service provided by the villa manager Khun A was impeccable. Very obliging and ever ready to help with a smile. Chef Pao was spot on with our requests for more Thai food for our breakfast, cooking up some nice minced meat porridge, kway teow soup, Kway Teow Ladna and lovely roasted potatoes with radish. The Thai Seafood BBQ for dinner was so good, we had it twice in three days. Fresh seafood bought from the market on the day of the BBQ itself, with fish, prawns, squid, crabs and even some lobsters! Transport to Central Festival for some quick shopping was arranged without much hassle. A family of 5's request for a round the island sightseeing was arranged within an hour, thanks to Khun A. The staff were ever ready to serve any of your favourite tea or coffee throughout the day. We even had a couple of nice Thai lunches all cooked by Chef Pao. Moonstone Rocks

As the song goes, “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!” That is particularly true for Villa Moonstone in Koh Samui, you can check out whenever you like but a piece of your heart will remain at this magical villa forever.

I went there to enjoy the 60th birthday party of a cherished friend with five other mates and the event more than lived up to the billing. From the amazing service and good humored attention of Mr. A (now a friend with shared memories we will laugh about for the rest of our lives) and his staff to the comfort of the suites where attention to detail is everything and the always cool waters (not sure how they keep them at such a pleasant temperature in that heat) of the infinity pool.

The Thai cuisine is top notch and cooked on site by your very own chef – though if you want Western fare that is no problem. If one could pull oneself from the incredible sunsets and the food table right next to your very own pizza over, the top class inhouse movie theater and game room awaits or one can call in the villa’s personal masseuse for some relaxation. I particularly enjoyed throwing their Moonstone kayaks into the water (as the villa is right smack on the sea) for a paddle around the beautiful bay.

This all encompassing experience, in the case of at least one or two of our party, calls for a change in the lyrics to “you can check in any time you like but you will never leave” during your entire stay (as there is no need to).
