Reggae Bar — Restaurant in Ko Samui

All of the food we tried here was awesome. Do yourself a favour and try the vegetarian spring rolls and the deep fried prawn balls. As for the drinks, a person in our group described the pineapple shake as the best drink she had ever tasted. Super friendly welcoming hosts in this family run bar and restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. Not crowded. Good prices. If you are staying in a nearby Villa or resort you would be mad not to give this place a try. Seating available for singles, couples, families and small groups but not very large groups. I believe this bar is actually called the Old Bar and while it is Reggae themed it should not be confused with other bars named Reggae that exist elsewhere...

We were lucky enough to stay within walking distance from this place. Firstly I would like to thank Chai, Chem and Ruai for their hospitality. They literally made us feel like family. Secondly the food, wow, THE FOOD!!!! I visited Thailand for a month in total and nowhere I ate compared to this place. The love, the vibe. It really is one of my favourite places I’ve ever eaten, anywhere, in my life!

This family are so beautiful and the restaurant they have created is special. We will definitely return when we re visit Thailand and wish this beautiful family nothing but success and prosperity.

This place became my go-to spot during my 17-day stay in Koh Samui—I must have eaten here 7–8 times!

It has a cozy and relaxed seating area with just the right number of tables. The food is prepared quickly and tastes absolutely amazing. I’ve tried almost the entire menu, and every dish was a hit.
