Hangover Aonang — Hotel in Krabi Province

I spent 12 days in Hangover Aonang, sadly I had an injury on my foot so I wasn’t able to walk properly and I’ve been basically sucked in the hostel 24/7.

The atmosphere in this place is lovely, it’s a chill place to meet new people, and they have also a bar open for public! Rooms are really clean and full equipped (they have really good curtains in the bed for privacy, air conditioning in the room, great showers with soap and shampoo dispenser, and a very nice balcony :) Don’t worry if you travel alone, Hangover hostel it’s the perfect place for it, a lot of people travel alone and the hosts keep organising social activities for the guests - such as jenga night, UNO games, pub crawl or even Christmas dinner altogether.

I would like to highlight the great service and hospitality from the hosts Leandro and Flo who personally have helped me countless times giving me a lift to the Clinic and getting medicaments for me to look after my injury.

After staying in different hostels in South America, Middle East, Europe and Asia, my favourite hostel it’s been Hangover for sure, I will really miss this family and environment, I can not wait to come back to visit Leandro and Flo 💙

PS: There used to be a world star pianist from Thailand entertaining guests in the hostel, but sadly he stopped performing for us as he had an international tour coming up, I hope to see him again and enjoy his music in the near...

Amazing hostel with world famous pianist and singer. I was so lucky to have met the star. He is the best friend of one of the owners and sometimes you can get lucky to meet him and hear his art. The owners asked us not to reveal his name online but be sure to ask about him when you stay at the hostel.

Everything else was also great, staff was very welcoming and helpful, facilities were great and the vibe was amazing. The artist singing for us was definitely the biggest highlight and added to the overall vibe so much. We couldn't get enough of him!

Love this place and I’m glad I found it.

Rooms are spacious. AC works well. Toilets and showers are always clean! Location is great. You’re close to everything but you’re on a quiet street so you can get a good nights sleep!

The owner Flo makes you feel welcome and included. He definitely enhanced the experienced.

Made some amazing friends here that I ended up travelling onwards with for a bit!

Wish the mattress was a little softer but not a deal breaker! I would recommend staying here...
