10/20 update: Let me be honest, those pictures you provided of the cleaned bathroom are useless. The toilet lid is closed, so they don't prove there wasn't poop in there. Also, we weren't threatening you. We simply asked the front desk if there was any compensation possible – we weren't even asking for a refund. The staff checked with the owner and came back saying, "The owner won't compensate you for anything! If you want to leave a review on Google, go ahead!" So that's what we did, we wrote down the facts. We didn't do anything wrong, and there was no threat. We just wanted to state what happened.

“ I stayed one night and found poop in the toilet.” I'm so lucky, I stayed one night and found poop in the toilet. We got to the hotel around 11 PM, and the front desk staff were really friendly. When we got to the room, we were so tired we just showered. We didn't even look in the toilet. But when we went to use it before bed, we opened the lid and there was, like, poop from the previous guests! I was so grossed out, but we were exhausted, so we just didn't use it and went to sleep. The next morning at breakfast, we told the front desk about the poop in the toilet. He apologized, and I even gave him the key so they could go see for themselves. He told us that the cleaning staff take pictures to confirm everything's clean, especially the beds and bathrooms. But the picture they took didn't show the toilet seat open – and there was definitely poop in there! I was just shocked because it meant the cleaners didn't even bother to lift the toilet seat to clean. They just left it. I stayed at MORN-ING HOSTEL, and I have some feedback to share. The room was on the smaller side, but it was clean, which is always appreciated. However, I did find the air conditioning could have been colder for added comfort.

One thing that caught me by surprise was the shuttle service to the airport, which came with a charge of 150 THB. It's worth noting that I had understood this service to be free when I made my booking.

Additionally, while the check-in is advertised as 24 hours, I encountered a bit of a wait during my stay. At 1 a.m., I had to wait because the staff was en route to drive other customers to the airport. This wait was a bit frustrating, especially at such an early hour.

We used this excellent and friendly hostel for a layover in Bangkok airport. There is a one way free transfer which was prompt with a clean well maintained car. We also booked for 150B for the way back (this gentleman driver was a bit speedier!!). We had a warm welcome at the hostel. The rooms were great, we had booked one room for 4 people but were given 2 separate rooms perhaps because they had a couple spare rooms.

Everything was clean, modern, comfortable, quiet with no street noise although it’s just off a busy road. Planes fly by every now and then but it was not very loud and there are earplugs offered. There is a super cute courtyard to have coffee in the morning and a Family Mart next door. Highly recommended for a layover.
