Stayed a few nights in this guesthouse in end Feb 2015.||||Its located a distance out of town so best if you have already rented a scooter. Its approximately 3 mins scooter ride from Aya travel, the main bus / tour / scooter rental shop in Pai. Easy to locate as its on main road without any turnoff after crossing Pai river. Suggest after arrival, rent a scooter to goto guesthouse.||||Reason I stayed here is because its opposite Tip off road adventure. So those intending to do ride with Tip will find this guesthouse convenient.||||The compound consists of about 8 to 10 chalets. Some are detached while some are semi detached sharing a wall. There's a nice garden and pond. ||||Rooms are fair for price paid. With a bit of negotiation, you'll get a room for THB 500 a night. ||||There's good wifi access, a shared fridge, TV, aircon, hot shower, ample parking outside chalet. No kettle in room. No food except for coffee for breakfast. Town is just 3 mins scooter ride so it really doesn't matter that breakfast was not provided. I spoke to lady owner and she said, upon request and if in advance, she could cook breakfast. ||||Interesting guesthouse as chalets are almost totally made from wood so looks like staying in a forest...
Read moreYes, found bed bugs crawling on my bed. I refused to sleep there. Too bad the family had already disappeared so I couldn’t ask to change rooms. I it was late so I couldn’t even leave to find a new hostel. I had to sit on the floor all night. When I found them in the morning (an hour and a half later than they said they would open reception) they told me they couldn’t help me. I asked for a refund and was refused. I showed her the bed bugs in the bed (I had killed a couple, left them sitting on the bed for them to see) she finally agreed on giving me only half my money back. She claimed the bugs get “far too small” to have interrupted my sleep. There was also a lot of hair on my bed that wasn’t mine and for 390B a night it was very disappointing. Rotten food littered the path to the rooms. Please don’t waste your money here, especially on these unfriendly,...
Read moreI loved my little bungalow. It was one of the reasons I stayed in Pai for so long. It is a bit outside of town but that is one of the reasons I loved it so much. I can see the sunset from my balcony. And very quiet at night, no dogs barking all through the night like somewhere else I stayed. Because it was at the back the Wi-Fi wasn't great but I could still watch netflix and the sunset view more than made up for it. Sian was an absolute delight she looked after me really well and even gave me medicine when I was sick. The bungalows have a couple of small ponds with koi in and some little streams running between them which adds to the magic. Surprisingly I had no trouble with mosquitos, I didn't even need my net and didn't get bitten once. |It's a great place to stay if you're doing Tip off roading which is just...
