3sometimes by popping pot kitchen — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

One of my favorites place in Pai, the menú is small but the hearts put in every dish is huge, so all menú is absolutely tasty, that remind me to be in a fine Restaurant with the different here every dish is 50bath. They also personalized the dishes for vegans or vegetarian. This place is absolutely a must I eat here at least 3 times a week. The family who own the place are really lovely and kind from the grandmother who prepare the green curry (you have to notify them in advance so they bring her), to the mother and the daughter. By the other side they have a good view of the mountains and the crops. If you come to Pai this place is a must.

Este es uno de mis lugares favoritos en Pai, creo que he comido mas de 10 veces aquí desde que llegué a Pai, el menú es pequeño 5 diferentes platos cada uno con su opción vegetariana y son creados con mucho amor, lo cual se siente en cada bocado, ademas que lo sirven de tal manera que uno se siente en un restaurante elegante, con la diferencia que cada plato cuesta solo 50 bath.

honestly confused by the reviews saying this is the best food they’ve had in asia.. feel like either they haven’t gone very far in asia 🤣 or we just got unlucky with the dishes we ordered here.. I came here twice, and both times the portions were too small, we were left feeling hungry. ordered the kayak the first time and it was literally just a small portion of rice with some breaded chicken on top. no katsu sauce / salad / veggies. the second time I tried a pad thai (it’s probably my 20th one here in thailand?) and it wasn’t pad thai at all. noodles with barely any vegetables in a flavourless sauce, and breaded chicken on top. Was left feeling disappointed both times....

Was pleasantly surprised stopping by here on our trip to Pai. We stayed in a hotel nearby, just outside of the busier city area and were glad to discover this place. Beautiful noodles. I can’t eat spicy food so finding noodle dishes proves a little difficult but they were perfect.
