This place was a real NIGHTMARE. We don’t have high expectations while backpacking around SEA, but there’s still a line that can’t be crossed. We booked a private room with shared bathroom because there were no beds left in the dorm. First of all, the place IS FILTHY. Again, no high expectations but there was dirt everywhere, ants and bugs in the bathroom and on the toilet seat, the kitchen looks like nobody has ever cleaned it. The table cloth is just a piece of thick grease. Second, the WiFi didn’t work in our room and when I asked about it I was told that it’s simply not strong enough to reach that area. Although I have to say that they tried to fix the problem by moving the router closer to our room, but still it didn’t work at all. 🤬But the worst thing of all was the BED. The mattress we had to sleep on doesn’t even deserve to be called a mattress. It literally was a HARD METAL NET covered with a thin layer of fabric. And we could feel it poking our body all night. It was extremely painful and it gave both of us a terrible back/neck pain. I believe I’ve never slept in such an uncomfortable bed in my entire life. Please please please get rid of that torture bed before ruining other people’s back!

This is the worst place I've ever been, just check the photos and judge yourself. If I'm the owner I would dare to invite my friends free of charge here, I will be embarrassed. It has a low rating but it deserve worst, you cannot give 5 starts because 'the staff is nice' because when I look for an accomodation I look forward to be comfortable, not just having nice staff. You see the state of the door of my room and that speaks for the rest of the facilities. The word resort is an insult, this place is a camping from the 70s or abandoned hippie village after a massive drug rave lasting for 5 days. I'm never been so uncomfortable in a place like this one... There is no place to put your stuff, you have an useless TV from 1950 that takes 20% of the small space available in your room... Seriously, go somewhere because I slept better in the street that in this accommodation. I can't believe that you need to pay, you should get paid for staying here.

Now, firstly. I have to say the staff at this place are lovely. They are very accommodating and friendly. People need to curb their expectations on the rooms though. This is a budget backpackers place to stay. If that is what you are looking for then go for it but if you want somewhere quiet and comfortable pay more for somewhere else. The rave reviews are generally because the staff are awesome but people should understand that it is a very basic place with dilapidated rooms.

DO NOT STAY HERE! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! January 2024. Before you get too excited about the name, its not even close to a resort, its an Absolute run down Asian ghetto hole that's actually unhealthy too because of how dirty the room was (old ratty carpet looked like hadn't been vacuumed), and so much mould rotting the floorboards beneath our feet in bathroom we're breathing in all night getting sick!

I was getting bit by bugs all night and scratching while noisy trucks/scooters passed by also waking me up. No, earplugs don't work. No real toilet paper in bathroom. Nothing smells clean. Disgusting strong sour and mould smell. Oh, then smelling the pollution from the road when I open the window to get the air circulating, and of course that makes the noise worse...

Ya it's cheap, but it's definitely NOT WORTH saving like $5 a night. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This RUINED my vacation in Pai! We looked for...
