From the very beginning, our experience at Hotel Labaris was nothing short of extraordinary. We were warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel instantly welcomed. Our bags were taken care of promptly and carried to our room, allowing us to relax and settle in without any hassle. Upon arrival at our spacious room, we were shown around the beautiful grounds. The room itself was impressive—large, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. It featured a luxurious king-size bed, a separate sink area, a spacious shower, a separate bathtub, and a private toilet area. The highlight was our own private swimming pool just outside the balcony doors, perfect for relaxing in privacy. The entryway to each room is surrounded by lush hedgerows, creating a stunning and serene entrance. The entire area exudes natural beauty, with abundant trees, colorful flowers, and a tranquil river in the back. The surroundings are teeming with birds and wildlife, offering a peaceful escape into nature. I never felt crowded or overwhelmed; in fact, I rarely saw other guests, which added to the sense of privacy and tranquility. One of the standout features of the hotel is the restaurant, Fabel Feast. It’s a beautifully designed space with lots and lots of windows, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding trees and birds. We mostly enjoyed breakfast here, which is a buffet-style offering a wide variety of international foods, fresh fruits, and bread—perfect for starting the day. We also dined here one evening; my son ordered the Japanese Wagyu steak, which was tender, cooked perfectly, and surprisingly affordable. I tried the Margherita pizza, but honestly, it wasn’t to my taste—it was a bit too sweet and not very appetizing, but that was the only minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic experience. Located near Khao Yai National Park, Hotel Labaris provides a perfect natural retreat. Overall, Hotel Labaris offers a wonderful blend of comfort, natural beauty, and personalized service. It’s an ideal getaway for anyone seeking peace, privacy, and a touch of nature’s wonder. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel and its lovely restaurant!

Hotel Labaris Khao Yai Magical Balloon Festival 2023 was totally disappointing. I do not mind the high price we paid as outside guest for the private function, but I do mind being served bad food. Please have the decency to provide hotel quality food to meet our expectations, especially from such a reputable establishment with worthy reviews. It was good that the we got cash vouchers in return for the entrance fee paid. And so, bought I a THB350 wagyu burger. I was served cold hard buns and a pre-cooked lukewarm beef patty. The cheese was simply slapped on, no tantalizing melting over the patty like a good gourmet burger should be. And the fries, they had been out a while too long. I have had better freshly cooked burgers at temple fairs. The kiddy pizza I ordered for my kid, it was of a thin dough with Nutella spread over. There were some marshmallows and M&Ms over the Nutella. Charging almost the same price as the burger I had, it was daylight robbery as the ingredients did not warrant such a price tag. We had the impression also that the event was kids friendly and loaded with activities. The only thing they had for kids was the inflated transparent igloo where all the kids congregated. Queue number 18 my kid got. There were no other booths for a fun fair. Now for those of you who wonder what the “balloon show” that happens later into the night was all about, first the balloons were line in a row, and then they were lifted higher into the sky. Then it was just the them lighting up as they fired the burners in unison to the tempo of whatever music they were playing. Wished I had skipped waiting for that corny show. Oh, by the way, these were not those real passengers carrying balloons I had been expecting. They were purely for decorative purposes only, a tiny basket enough for one small monkey. Anyways, other than having a place to take some good pictures with scaled down replicas of real hot air balloons, whether it is worth the price is to each their own. Not me, never again.

Hotel Labaris Khao Yai is the perfect example of a place that looks great in photos but completely falls apart in real life. Yes, the design is nice — but that’s where it ends. The room looked good at first glance, but once you actually settled in, it was clear everything is starting to get old and moldy. We dropped something under the bed, looked underneath — full of dust, trash, and dirt. Completely unclean. For a place charging this much, that’s just unacceptable. The breakfast buffet? An absolute joke. Everything tasted like leftovers. Food was dry, bland, and old. Refills were slow, and staff didn’t bother to clean or reset anything — just dumped new food right on top of the old mess. It looked disgusting. The pool and surroundings? Nice to look at, but boring in reality. No energy, nothing to do unless you want to keep paying for every little thing. Every activity or fun-looking option comes with a price tag. It felt more like a business trying to milk you than a hotel trying to give you a good experience. And the worst part — the staff. You can tell this place isn’t part of any professional hotel chain. It’s probably privately owned, and it shows. The staff and managers were completely untrained. The way they talked, handled things, and responded felt like a low-budget roadside motel. No sense of service, no professionalism, just blank faces and bad attitudes. Biggest regret of the trip. Would not recommend.

Hotel labaris 16.12.22 This should be the Basics but they don’t have available

Welcome drinks were far too sweet.

Staff that brings the basics like amenities took absolutely ages.

The shower has very low water pressure.

Water temperature too controlled, doesn’t get hot enough. Especially in Thailand during the winter months like December it gets really cold therefore you need hot water for relaxation but they don’t have availability. We booked two rooms and one room didn’t have warm water at all why was this not checked before we get the room? Time waster!!

We went to the restaurant, we ordered food and were sitting outside the restaurant by the pool the staff wasn’t available if we needed something we had to go inside the restaurant and ask for help even though it wasn’t busy.

They should have a better system.

Ordered a meal for my child for at-least half an hour to 45 minutes and had to repetitively ask where the food was and in the end my food came before my child’s food. All we got was a polite apology. My child’s food should have come first and should not have taken that long. It was only a carbonara.

More than half of the stuff on the menu is not available but was not told at the beginning. For example we wanted to have steak, there were about 10 choices and only 3 choices of steaks were available, same with wine.

It took the staff absolutely ages before the wine was served and we were told it was not available after waiting ages.

Wine does not go off so I do not understand why they don’t have them, we asked the staff when the wine will be coming in because we were staying longer than one night and they don’t even know and said when ever it gets ordered in.

Make the menu smaller if you are not able to cater or tell the customers at the beginning what’s not available so they are not disappointed.

Breakfast service is awful, for this hotel I would expect the staff to accommodate and help.

The staff that served us seems to be in a middle of serving other table and did not sit us down right away.

A staff tried to sit us on the biggest table of at-least 10 people even-though there were smaller tables available and there were only 4 of us. We did not want to take the big table incase there were bigger groups of people.

The staff does not ask if we wanted a coffee. For the price of this hotel I would expect the staff to ask and bring us the coffee at the beginning.

They have a juicer but no one was making it for you so you had to try and figure out how the machine works and when you ask a member of staff they look down at you and was not very helpful instead of showing or trying to help.

Rooms are old fashion, basic towards boring almost put me off coming.

However the bathroom looks nice in my opinion.

To the positive points…food were delicious. Hot air balloon event was beautiful.

Check in and luggage staff team were very welcoming.

The hotel and surrounding were dreamy...
