Overall a nice hotel stayed for three weeks. Fresh breakfast with offers you buffet from breads, cereal, fruits, cheese, ham and pastries. You can also order up to two meals from a menu that gets cooked in the kitchen for you anything from breakfasts like English breakfasts to sandwiches and Thai brunch dishes.
Daily cleaning, pool with a bar offering happy hours during certain hours. They also have a room service and the prices are reasonable for hotel food, and the food is decent, nothing extraordinary, but after a long day and you wanna eat in it works just fine.
The brochure with all the daily activities, happy hour schedule etc that we received was faulty with wrong hours which was annoying. The rooftop bar was closed during the entire stay due to what I think was reconstruction.
Two times the cleaning lady forgot to close our door which was not appreciated.
The hotel is a bit remote from the noisy city center of patong which was appreciated. Expect a 30-40 minutes walk from the city center with sub-optimal to no side walks. The hotel is located on a hill which gives a good view hence “skyview” but this also comes with a steep hill the last 200 meters walk, which we was prepared for since we did the research.
The hill is manageable all tho Steep, unless you’re old and fragile or injured this hill is probably what you need if you find it difficult. However skyview offers a daily shuffle for free that you can sign up for. It goes four times per day from the hotel to city center, beach and back.
You can also sign up to get picked up at these spots when they drop off the next fare. So if the times match you schedule you can get transport back and forth for free, the earliest is 10 am and the last one is 6 pm.
Otherwise you can get bolt from anywhere in patong to the hotel for 200-300 baht depending on the demand.
Pool is fresh, facilities are fresh, the hotel offers a free wi-fi, minibar, security safe, hygienproducts, robes, slippers, beach bag, coffemaker and 1-2 air conditions depending on the room.
Friendly staff the English is manageable, the receptionist staffs are slightly better than the bar / restaurant staff. Don’t go all big words and you’ll be fine.
Close to the hotel down the hill you have a 7eleven, cheap pharmacy and a fantastic cleaning lady in a discrete homelike environment search for laundry service on google maps and you’ll find it.
We had a long stay and managed to see different types of people staying there, mainly families and couples, some visitors from certain parts of the world that I won’t disclose had a unnecessary demeaning behavior against the staff and had no respect for other guests thinking they owned the place. But that’s not the hotels fault.
Would stay again if...
Read moreFirst of all, I booked a family fun package for One bed room suite directly from the hotel website. I wanted to select that I will travel solo but the hotel website only allowed you to select 2 adults (pls fix this). The hotel staff has no clue about website fixing at 2 adults. So, the package included: • FREE Cooking Classes • FREE Cocktail Masterclasses • FREE Popsicles all day long at Splash Pool Bar • FREE Popcorn and Cotton Candy all day long at Splash Pool Bar
(Not that I’m going to have popsicles all day anyway) It said Cocktail Master class though but the staff kept saying this is for kids and it’s mocktail. How come a cocktail master class turned into kids class? Fraud advertisement? Anyway, if that was the case (I mean those in the package I didn’t get), should I get a compensation for anything else? But the front staff was only in denial.
The mentioned above didn’t show the conditions for kids only. I only found out upon check-in. Why did I have to bother booking this package if there’s no such things of a sort. I don’t have kids obviously but I just thought even though I don’t, I would still be able to enjoy.
Secondly, I booked One bed room suite with balcony. The photo shows that it connects to the garden. But I did request a higher floor without knowing that the only thing I could see from the balcony is the wall of the other building up close. Then why bother to have the balcony.
Thirdly, the main elevator was broken so we (me and other guests) had to use the service elevator instead. The hotel should maintenance this better.
Another thing is that, it’s hard to walk up from the parking lot to the hotel lobby. It’s up the hill and I had to drag my suitcase to the lobby myself. It’s painful. Trust me when I say painful, because I went down for a gym class and had to literally walk up the hill that high after it….I guess all could imagine.
Regarding the parking space, it’s pretty convenient, I would say but when it’s night time, it can hardly see properly. The security guard were there at the booth but they were there as if they couldn’t left the post. They weren’t helpful to anyone.
Breakfast, of course there’s a buffet line but the main course, the guest will have to order with no exceeding than 2 choices or else you will have to pay. What kind of buffet was that? I was confused.
Lastly, you call yourself a 5-star? No sir,...

Staff- 5/5 very friendly and accommodating
Rooms- 5/5 as well, we booked a “sunset room” which faces the city/ocean. Sunsets in November were a bit overcasted. The balcony was nice and faced the pool- live music could be watched from there as well as the city lights at night. The staff decorated our room to celebrate our honeymoon- nice touch.
We got the breakfast included in the room rate- 5/5 breakfast with an entire menu of options. Traditional options as well as continental. We were huge fans of the Thai breakfast and the Thai omelet. The French toast was amazing as well. 2 entrees per guest each breakfast and they also have breakfast items buffet style served.
The property sits at the top of a hill and tuk tuks are reluctant to drive you up the hill but they will. At the bottom of the hill you can find a laundry service, a 7-11, a couple atm machines, a nice nail salon and hole in the wall bars. About 8-10 min away from Patong Beach- the hotel offers daily shuttles to the beach/city.
Lots of shopping and entertainment both day and night. Massage parlors are open late at night (11pm) and can we walked to. Street food markets also in the area and everything you can think of.
Make sure to take a dip at the hotel pool and swim up bar! Delicious drinks at an unbeatable price. We loved how much variety and entertainment/ programming the resort had- no need to leave, but I definitely...
