Steak Tonight — Restaurant in Patong

After 9 nights of enjoying the Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice and Char Siu, wanted to go with something different and this worked on every level.

Portion sizes are generous if you don't have the appetite of a Hippopotamus. Plus they are thoughtful enough to add fries and a slice of garlic bread with every steak order. Didn't know this and added extra garlic bread initially which turned out to be stuffy to finish.

The seafood stuff here is basic. Beef is kinda expensive as it's mainly imported.

What really works here are the items off the grill and you can smell it long before you turn the corner for the restaurant.

Do note that they are crammed and generally doing their best. Pace of the orders plus Grab drivers waiting does not allow the staff too much time to breathe, let alone ask you how your day was. Set expectations accordingly and you will have...

Although there's a Lil wait time to get seated, the atmosphere is more of a local experience with ppl from various background. The fact it is in a less tourisy area makes the price good as compared to other places right at patong beach where all the restaurant Jack up their price. Black pepper chicken and pork steak (89 baht) as well as the rib eyes steak are very delicious. Portions are great too. There is also a drink store next to it that has coconut for only 35 bht (cheapest I find so far in Thai) and kratom drink (25 baht) that helps sleep as according to the lady that sells them. This place is worth it...

Really enjoyed when I was suggested this hidden little beauty by some local friends. 5 Adults and 1 child, place was very very busy with the locals but it was a well organised business, that had everyone sorted and seated pretty quickly.

You can do take away or eat in, we ate in and it was a comfy place with lots of atmosphere.

Prices were unbelievable, food was so delicious and huge servings, I couldn't finish mine.

So glad, I was suggested this place. Can not wait to try out more from the menu on my next visit.
