Disappointing Experience - Avoid if Possible

I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. Upon arrival, I was given the wrong room type, and the air conditioning remote didn’t work, providing only cold air at a fixed temperature. Most importantly, the WiFi was non-functional on the fifth floor, despite repeated attempts, which was essential for me.

The hotel was extremely dirty, with no proper reception staff. When I asked a Western man in a filthy back office if he was the receptionist, he said he lived there. Shockingly, guests’ passport copies were stored openly at the front desk, and the hallways on several floors smelled strongly of human waste.

I informed this man that I’d contact Agoda, and he assured me a quick refund. I called Agoda in his presence and informed him that I would not stay at the hotel, instead booking another hotel on the same street. Despite repeated calls and emails from Agoda, the hotel ignored all requests for the promised refund. Days later, I found the hotel owner, a woman who appeared intoxicated, sitting at an outside table. She typed an email to Agoda in front of me, promising my €89.78 refund, but apparently never sent it. Later that day, Agoda informed me that they had received no communication from her, and despite numerous attempts, the owner remained unreachable.

This hotel is not only in poor, unclean condition but also run by an owner who is unreachable and uncooperative. I cannot recommend staying here to...

When we came there (around 1.10p.m.) they told us it is not a problem to Check-In earlier (check in is at 2 p.m.) but we had to wait. We were waiting 20 minutes and they took us to the room. When I came there I saw a man who just took a shower (5 minutes later it turned out he was an employee). We left our backpack there and we were waiting in the reception. A guy who works in the reception asked us after 10 minutes is everything ok with our room and we answered that we are waiting for cleaning our room but he was surprised and he told that the room is ready. When I went there I saw very dirty room. The bedsheets weren't change, on the floor was usef paper, hair and trashes. It wasn't look like a hotel room (in attachment you have a pictures). We decided to wait till 2 p.m. when was the check in time but nothing changed... After long conversation (they told us that their employee didn't answer for calls but we meet another 4 people who work there) they gave us a key to another room. When we came there we saw more dirty room than the first one... and on the table was a used condom. They started laughing and taking in their language between themselves. We took our backpacks and we left the hotel. I have never meet such a rude people in the hotel. We paid for it and they treated us badly. We resignated for this booking. I totally not recommend...

I posted it because i lost 1800bahts and got disrespected from rude manager. I was hoping to prevent others from making the same mistake I did. This hotel is awful. I booked and paid two weeks in advance, but when I arrived, the outside looked like a street full of holes. At check-in, the manager wasn’t there, and no one was around except an elderly woman who didn’t know anything and wasn’t responsible for the hotel. She just gave me a key and told me the room was on the 4th floor, but there was no elevator. With two large suitcases, I couldn’t carry them up, so I decided to cancel my stay and book another hotel. When I returned to the hotel and finally met the manager, I asked for a partial refund since I hadn’t stayed even a day. I had booked for four days, but the manager was extremely rude, yelling at me that she didn’t care whether I liked the hotel or not. She refused to give me a refund, saying I was too late to cancel.
