Once again we went with a company to the Armenia restaurant. It was a rainy sad evening in Pattaya whatever inside the restaurant there was a real Caucasian atmosphere of hospitality and fun. We were greeted with great joy as members of an Armenian family, treated with delicious homemade liqueur, on the outside smoking area the company danced and sang Caucasian songs and we attended to dance with them. The real Caucasus, for those who know what that means and understand it. Shashlik is a real Caucasian recipe, made on real coals and not in a frying pan like "filet mignon" or on gas stove like BBQ. Yes, probably not "Michelin's French" cuisine but the real Caucasus taste. The waiters may not be super professionals as you pretend but they try to do the best from the bottom of their hearts and that is why in the end you want to hug everyone, share drink and sing together, maybe a little bit loud on the terrace, but inside playing decent sophisticated music, cold air, quiet and good for family dinner.Atmospheric, soulful and a real restaurant where the employees truly love you and do not put on a poker face with a fake smile just seeing inside of your pocket and cheating on you! My recommendation for those who are looking for great food and fun! P.S.- If you're an introvert unsatisfied with your own life, just accidentally have been docket here with your own yacht from Monaco maybe Jomtien beach will not be as good for you as 5 ⭐ restoran located on Bangkok's rooftop . Peace and love for...
Read moreMy review is for the service of the place. And mainly - my message is for the owner of the place, if he is interested in his business 😉 New waitresses, who don’t know how to work - can happen and i would just show it just no tips. But! If the main manager works like this - it’s a TOTAL FAIL. Waitress forgot some dish to bring at all. And our table ordered 2 types of kebab. So waitress, who took order, put in front of me me kebab (that was not mine), i start to eat, eat quarter and after he brought mine - so that other person gets eaten by me dish… the manager was sure it’s ok (are you serious???), she thought right thing is to move the plate with 3/4 kebab to my friend 😅 the manager even didn’t say sorry one time, only that we should get, that the waitress is working first time and we HAVE TO ask what we get 🤷🏼♀️ i asked, what she think about all of this and how to manage it) she just left, but i had a hope not to write it. So i got no sorry, no discount for this kebab at least, not just glass of wine or small salad for a table of 6 persons, not EVEN JUST A SMILE FOR FREE. This restaurant spoiled my mood, that’s my...
Read moreA bit disappointing. Food is priced quite good, with specials making the main dishes even more attractive, but for those that know Armenian food recipes it's sorely lacking, mainly due to lack of effort as seasoning and ingredients are readily available in Thailand. Pork kebabs are flavorless not using Armenian herb recipes and also used poor quality cuts of pork. Also pork was sliced against the grain which any kitchen person should know now to do). Chicken kebab is better but also lacking herb seasoning. Dolma was made using pork, not rice and lemon and herbs, not so tasty. Service was very good, kudos to the young Cambodian waitress for a great job. Atmosphere and decor is nice. Wish food was better as I really want to have some food choice like they promise but fail to deliver here. I'm giving three stars for excellent service, restaurant decor and atmosphere, but I strongly want to give it two stars. We will try again in a few months to see if this was just a bad night in...
