WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya, to the point I was literally given a pool towel with DIARRHEA stain.||||From the moment we arrived at around noon, the service was super horrible. No one assisted with our luggage or even welcomed us, despite three receptionists being present and bellboys appearing after our entry. Upon returning at 4 PM, we were asked to present our passports again, and the second receptionist even demanded our Agoda booking code, even though we had mentioned our luggage was already stored to her.||||Our luggages weren’t placed in our room upon check-in, an extremely standard practice in MANY hotels even those with 3-star. We had to call to have it brought up.||||Hoping to salvage the experience, I visited the gym. I requested two towels from a stern looking receptionist in the other building, who gave a look to make sure I return those towels to her there after use — an unfriendly look. While using one towel, I later discovered it had HUGE & SCATTERED DIARRHEA STAINS. This realization, after wiping my body all over with it was utterly revolting. I reported it to the reception and went to take a long shower, feeling so grossed out.||||When I approached the front desk to complain, the manager already went home. The reservation manager was asked to step in, she listened and apologized, oddly asking if I’d had dinner as if to offer, which felt inappropriate given there’s HYGIENE issue in the hotel.||||That night, I couldn’t sleep due to anger and disgust. The next morning, I met the manager, who turned out to be that stern unfriendly lady who handed me the soiled towel! She offered empty apologies without taking responsibility. No mention of a word about cleanliness and sanitation of all towels mixed with the soiled one or how they are going to prevent such incidents in the future. Instead, she condescendingly said they will “raise their standards” as if I was asking for something unreasonable, just because I expected basic hygiene and proper luggage handling. THEN she offered small compensations like fruits, meals or a late checkout, which felt ridiculous after such huge HYGIENE issue. Notably, there was ZERO offer to relocate us to another hotel, which would have been an appropriate response given the severity of the situation and even after I told her I lost a night of sleep at their disgusting hotel. We wouldn’t have taken up the offer either given the hassle to move but at least that should have been the humane standard!||||From the moment I entered this hotel, I noticed many staff members appeared unfriendly and unhappy, reflecting poorly on the hotel’s atmosphere and working environment.||||The hotel slippers they provide are also super cheap material with no grip plus their super slippery bathroom floor, my sister and I almost fell down numerous times, I am certain we are not the first victims here marking this hotel not only gross but also a safety hazard.||||The diarrhea towel was inexcusable. Such a glaring oversight in cleanliness and hygiene is unacceptable. This fatal incident highlighted significant shortcomings in service, sanitation, and complaint management at this hotel. Such low class seedy experience for such beautiful 5-star...
