I have lost count how many times I had come here. It is our go to place every time we are in Pattaya. The food here is just fantastic. Well known with locals, this rustic open-air restaurant has also now attracted quite a fair bit of foreigners as her fame spreads beyond the shores of Thailand. Folks come here for the Khanom Jin. It is rice noodles served with an assortment of curry like fish-based gravy. Much like the Laksa of Singapore, but not as thick and rich. I remember in Singapore a long time ago when a Thai restaurant serving this dish opened, we were all calling it Thai Laksa. Khanom Sen Khun Ya is the name of the place. Loosely translated, it simply means Grandma’s Thai Laska. The other dishes they have here are all fantastic as well. Best of all, they are all priced fairly at the level of locals. The fried pork its batter so crisp yet its meat so tender. So are the fried chicken wings in the same styled batter. These are must haves when here. Many were here for their Thai Basil Mantis Shrimp on rice, a tad fiery for the foreign tongue. Generous the portion of crustaceans. We have learned that to not join the holiday queue under the opposite old tree, come in the hours before 11am for an early lunch. We have also learned that coming after 2pm risk facing no more food. This restaurant is in the vicinity to the entrance of Motorway, Pattaya side near to the dolphinarium. Well worth visit to taste the...

The fresh Fermented Rice Flour Noodles dish served with different kind of spicy crab/ prawn soup is the signature one. Must not missed. The service and food is served fast. Impressive for the management.
