Siva Royal Hotel — Hotel in Phatthalung Province

I must say this hotel surprised me for a hotel in Phattahlung. It was like staying in a much higher rated hotel in a big city. The rooms have 2 styles 28sq and 35sq. I stayed in the bigger room for only 100 bht more. The rooms a very well appointed with lots of space and great views of the mountains. Big bed and really comfortable also the pillows had different levels of comfort so you have choice for how you like to sleep. The bathroom is big also with 2 types of shower head l like rain shower.The hotel also has elevator and a man to help you with your bags. The carpark is also big and your car is secure off the street. There is also a very large meeting room for conferences or wedding reception. The hotel reception manger is Ms Apple she has alot of experience in bigger hotels so is aware of the customers needs. She speaks very good English and no requests are a problem. You can also add to your room hotel breakfast which is a buffet style with many options. The dining manager is Ms Tiw and she can also speaks good English and has alot of experience in larger hotels. She is also able to help with requests if you want help. The dining room has inside or outside seating the decor is very comfortable. The hotel also has a small but well equipped gym if you like to workout. There are also 2 bikes available to borrow. There is also a coffee shop onsite serving many types of drinks including wine and beers. My only criticism is the coffee beans it is Bonn Coffee which is very ordinary if they source a Thai coffee from Chang Mai would be better. But overall my stay was a great experience and I felt very welcome. The staff are also very helpful if you need advice on places to visit while in Phattahlung and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend Siva Royal Hotel and will definitely return. I think the owners of the hotel are very lucky to have Ms Apple and Ms Tiw at this hotel. We stayed at this medium-sized hotel in Phatthalung with our family of four (two adults and two kids). The hotel isn’t very large and doesn’t have many staff, but the team members we met were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.||The room was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent size — comfortable enough for a small family to relax. The bathroom and shower area are not separated, but the space is fair, so it wasn’t too much of an issue for us. The amenities provided, such as toiletries, were a little below expectations and could be improved for better comfort — maybe the hotel can work on that in the future. Although the hotel doesn’t have connecting rooms, the staff kindly arranged two rooms next to each other, which was very convenient for our family.||The location is also very good and convenient, especially for those driving. There’s ample parking space, and the hotel is close to nearby conveniences such as restaurants, shops, and local attractions. A big plus is the in-house café, which serves a full menu — perfect for grabbing a meal or coffee without needing to go out.||Overall, it’s a nice and peaceful place to stay for families who prefer a quiet environment without the crowds of bigger hotels. Not worthy! Its price was more expensive than others in the same area. The hotel building also seems to be new but the inside delux room looks quite old. When I visited, there was a ceremony in its ballroom hall behind the hotel building (it was no any announcements about this event before booking or with the confirmation email). My balcony turns to face that event, then It was super noisy and really loud. Carelessly, the staff cannot tell what exact time it would stop! It was hard to bear it for 3-4 hours with chit-chat, singing sound and the noises from many drunkmen as well. It ended after mid-night that significantly disturbed my old mom bed time. Poor services! Poor environment! No any apologies at all!!!!! However, It's pretty good location since it's located quite near CBD. There are many authentic Southern tasty restaurant nearby.
