Had to make an unscheduled stop in Hua Hin while on a road trip and thought I would try out this place. Firstly calling it a resort is misleading as all it has is a smallish "pool" that you can only soak in and that's about all the resort you gonna get. The hotel is located about 3.5km from city centre towards the airport. You'll need to have your own transport as it is quite a ways off from the city centre.||The car park is just a gravel patch that is smallish but is shaded. Reception is just a counter with only standing room.||The hotel room I got is smallish and had a king sized bed though I booked for a twin. The reception informed that all of their rooms are singles even though online reservations say otherwise. That was a disappointment.||Room is smallish and no wardrobe is provided. Neither do they provide any clothes rack or robe hooks for hanging your stuff. I would say it's poorly appointed and thought out. Had to lay my stuff on the floor instead. Bathroom is basic and again there are no robe hooks anywhere aside from a small towel rail. The kingsize bed is high and mattress is firm.||There is a small restaurant in the premises but the food served is quite tasty I must say.||Overall it offers basic accommodation akin to a guesthouse but for the price I am sure there are better...
Read moreThe staff are very lovely and so are the rooms! It definitely is out of the way so it does make it hard having to plan booking the free shuttle backwards and forwards and it only goes to 3 stops, and the last pickup time is only 9.30pm which feels too early, but having the free shuttle does help a lot! ||There are some areas they could improve with, like the rooms could do with a good deep clean on the walls, having some wifi in the common areas like the lobby and pool, smoking on the balconies should be allowed, some of the furniture was run down and placed randomly in glass rooms which I feel is a missed opportunity to have some plants in there instead and replacing some of the furniture could really elevate the feel of the place, we were there in May and they still had Christmas bear decorations out, the music which was just a cd on repeat got old quickly, the ordered restaurant food is not amazing but the buffet options were each morning. And I know it may not be possible but it would be much easier to get in and out of the pool by the sun chairs if there were some stairs near the chairs. ||Overall still...
Read moreI first stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and personally had a very positive impression of the rooms, the swimming pool, and the overall atmosphere. It was a wonderful, small, and very welcoming hotel.||The staff provided a great welcome; they were all smiling and friendly. |Areas for Improvement Breakfast: The breakfast is consistent with other recent reviews—I was not impressed. The selection was the same every day and very minimal. Items were frequently running out and had to be requested to be refilled. The sausage was a cheap and poor-quality product. (The one exception was the coffee, which I enjoyed, as it was Boncafe.) Room: The room itself is very spacious, and the pillows are soft. However, the room lacks a small drying rack for clothes or even enough convenient hooks/hangers in the bathroom. ||Overall, while the charm and warmth of the small hotel remain, and the staff are excellent, the quality and management of the breakfast significantly detract from the experience.||The location is a little bit far the town but they have a tuktuk from the hotel...
