The most gorgeous garden, neatly kept with beautiful flowers everywhere ♥️🪷🦋There is an ample swimming pool with sun beds next to them. The pool is filled with balls of all sizes limiting its use (you can’t really do laps with all the balls). Nevertheless a nice place to relax. The restaurant serves decent meals which we enjoyed both for breakfast and lunch. Some days it is closed for lunch but you can still get drinks. We found the restaurant a bit ‘hit and miss’ for lunch and when we couldn’t eat we just went nearby to Cafe101. The coffee and fruit smoothies were great and refreshing, nice to drink next to the pool too! The best part about the units were that they were quiet, all the units were separate except for 3 which were doubles and had a connected outside area. The units themselves were made from wood with a veranda for outside seating. The rooms are not large but there is a large fridge for use. Personally I would remove the large chest of draws…. If you like very hard beds this is the place for you. Perhaps the hardest bed out of all 9 hotels we stayed at during our...
Read moreExtremely helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, if somewhat cozy, accommodations. The bungalows have air conditioning which is welcome on the warmer/stickier days, and the decks are a nice place to laze when there’s a breeze or an afternoon shower.
The location is nice and quiet, but you’ll need to figure out your transport if you plan to get out and about. You can walk to the lake and beach, but it’s a narrow, heavily trafficked road with no footpath and little verge. Your best bets will be hiring a bicycle or scooter (which this resort has) or a car (if you’re managing kids).
Getting to Hua Hin itself either needs you to have a car, or to arrange a taxi or songthaew, which can add up if you aren’t going to be spending the whole day in town (which I would recommend against, as it isn’t really a terribly exciting town centre).
If we were to visit Hua Hin again, we’d definitely look at...
Read morePeaceful place, beautiful gardens and great swimming pool. The rooms are self contained Thai style wooden houses with modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and electric heated shower. Nice balcony sitting area. They served lovely breakfast with good choices and an excellent pressurized coffee expresso machine with good beans. You need transport if you want to go out but really good for a couple days by the pool. No dinner in evening but plenty choice nearby and the very friendly owner can guide. You can borrow free bicycles to go to beach 1km away. Free wireless in the resort is fast, I measured +60Mbps download / 20 uploaded, fibre fed service so surf away the day by the pool if that's...
