Interesting place, didn’t stay but the pod type accommodation works well in the west and looked very clean and nice.||The location isn’t too far from the popular beach and feels very tropical.||Staff are excellent, well trained and speak good English, the food however is unfortunately not as good as the rest of the resort.||The menu does look very interesting and different, however I believe it might be a step too far for the chef. I do understand everyone ‘s taste is different so I can only say this as just my opinion. As someone who lives in TH and tried most restaurants in the area I feel|It could have been better.||I asked for a different but popular cocktail, however this was not available which I understand.||We had three dishes of food and all were under seasoned and lacked flavour.||It’s great pity as I believe this could be a great peaceful restaurant with a good chef.||I would certainly return if the food was upgraded a bit. ||I note the owners response from my google review, I was very positive and only a slight bit of advise, however if you are unwilling to accept anything other than positive feedback this is probably not the forum for your business. ||Had the owner been vaguely interested, respectful or thankful rather than defensive I’d have thought that was ok.||I believe everyone can improve no matter how good you...

Forgive my excitement, but the dishes and food here are truly world class. The environment is a friendly and laid back eco style cafe with a resident tortoise and couple of Frenchies. Looking at the menu, you expect some nice fresh cafe style food but wow, what they put together in the kitchen is unbelievable.
We had a swordfish poncho: swordfish steak, asparagus and a light vegetable tapanade served something like an encroute, but using roti instead of puff pastry. It was a perfect balance of big punchy flavours, the fish succulent, and the roti was so much better than puff pastry.
We also had a chuchee chicken that was out of this world. All of the delicious aromatic flavours of Thailand in the chuchee curry... sweet, salty, sour, salty, with toasted coconut, fresh green peppercorns...ask for spicy (it’s not really spicy) poured over lightly battered, well seasoned golden chicken. The aroma alone is worth the price of the dish.
We had mixed grilled vegetables which were beautifully cooked, full of flavours, pleasantly light on oil.
The first two dishes could be served in any number of 5* or Michelin star European or Asian restaurants and would be the best item on the menu!
