Pimpimarn Beach Hotel — Hotel in Rayong Province

A stunning seaview from the fourth floor room and the good news is that a new lift was been installed and should be in||service by end of November 2014.The room and bedding was clean at all times.There was television (no English channels),||aircon,electric shower and fridge all worked.A good size double bed and balcony with great views if you get front room on||the fourth floor, did not get chance to see view from third floor rooms.This hotel is in a good location, just across the||road from the beach which at the time we were there was clean and clear water. Also many restaurants right opposite and ||a ATM almost next door, bike hire,supermarkets on the door step and a few bars just up the road 2 mins walk.I got towels||from front desk every day for the beach.The General Manager Mr Napon Putpong(Neung) was very helpful, he locked my ||valuables in the office safe and assisted with local information and arranging taxi for transfer.My wife and I stayed||here for 6 nights B&B only we did not use the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on meals,it looked well laid out.||We would stay here again and although it was worth the walk up to the fourth floor,the lift will make a difference.|| We found all the staff very helpful and nothing was ever to much trouble.This hotel is in a nice area and...

This was my first visit to this hotel,it is popular with Thai and international travellers and is probably the best value in the area. I booked online and paid a total of $62 for 2 nights . My room on the 4the floor was similar toothed rooms- the furniture and fittings are very old but the rooms are EXTREMELY CLEAN ,There is a restaurant but my booking did not include breakfast.there is a nice new elevator so no need to walk up the stairs. All staff have some english but the Manager and his wife are never far away if you need a fluent english speaker. I had no major problems at all -BRILLIANT WIFI -optic fibre SUPER friendly staff and good house keeping. Lots of cheap international CHEAP food joints walking distance places to eat. Stayed there several times||||this hotel caters for group tours (that's why all rooms are joined in balcony) so many times it can be quite full and noisy. Big buses coming in late night and leaving early morning so be prepared to hear loud noises at odd times||||No lift so had to walk all the way up to 4th floor with all luggage||||wifi is free but it is all about location, if u are lucky and get a room near wifi router then good speed otherwise terrible internet speed||||location is good - just across the beach but that is true for all the hotels...
