Tequila Sunrise Mae Phim — Restaurant in Rayong Province

Had the worst experience and waited one hour to be served our two main entrees. Having had wonderful experience in the past this was the first place we wanted to have dinner when we were in Rayong. The location is fantastic, the waiter and kitchen was a big failure and they were not busy when we arrived at 6pm. My wife had the seafood fried rice and my son & I ordered the chicken fajitas , chicken nachos and chicken tacos. After eating our first two entrees, and thirty minutes after we arrived, I summoned the male server and asked about our dinner. He asked would we like to cancel it, No, we came for dinner what is the issue. Well thrity minutes later it finally came, and was bland and not tasty. I’ve been here many times over the years and always enjoyed it until recently. This time when we’re ordering foods the lady take our orders explain everything clearly that we want, but when the food came our American burger was not like we asked. Tried tell her again and she shouted at me and told me to go talk to the kitchen and walked away, and I have to walk to explain to the chef. With only her attitude and that she look to the customer all wrong. First if she didn’t understand or not clear should ask again. Second when is totally her fault she should say “sorry” not just shout to me. And last one is when I walked to the kitchen to tell chef that they forgot to put cheese in a burger she shouldn’t say sarcastically “she come again” (first time not correct order, second time beef not cook, third time forget cheese)....

We spent a couple of nights in Mae Phim and decided to try the Tequia Sunrise Restaurant. Excellent food on first night including Sea Bass with 2 Hearts. Deep fried fish taken off the bone with a citrus, lemon grass, chilli sauce on one side of plate and a sweet and sour on the other. What a great idea and cooked to perfection. The second night my wife ate Pizza and I had Hungarian Schnitzel. Pork in crumb with paprika sauce. Good taste, but the Schnitzel wasn’t thin enough. Meaning it was basically like a pork steak. Pizza was good. Service was very good. However, possibly the highly of the two visits, was the excellent singer Malou. Great variety of easy listening songs.
