Rayong Chalet Hotel — Hotel in Rayong Province

I went to stay at this hotel on 26 April 2019. There was a big group tour on the same day. I was informed that it might be a bit noisy which was acceptable but in fact it was not acceptable. The party started at 4.30 pm with the light music which was not much noisy but when it was night time from 7 pm forward, the music was so loud and it was too loud to sleep when it was 9 pm. The door of the room had been shaken due to the music. When I opened the door to go out, I felt like I was in the nightclub or disco tech. I went down to the reception desk to inform the staffs to tell the big group to reduce to volume of the music because I needed to rest and then I went up and waited. Then i realized that nothing happened, I went down again for the second time. The staff of the hotel (I though she was the head) was so rude to me. She said that no one complained about the noise except me and the group tour was allowed to make very loud noise until 10.30 pm. It was their right to make noise. I told them that I drove long way from Bangkok and arrived in the late afternoon. I needed to rest to be able to work in the following day. I said I didn't mean that they had to stop the music but I asked to reduce to volume because the music was so loud and there was no tree to prevent the noise. The noise went straight to my room until the door was shaken. That staff again shouted at me and showed me that the hotel didn't care for the customer only 1 room although I booked the room 2-3 weeks before the big group and I had stayed at this hotel 3 times. At that time, I was so angry and didn't want to stay at this hotel longer. I went up and called the Novotel for the available room and they said there was 1 room available. This rundown establishment needs a complete upgrade from it's existing furnishings, the beds are very old mattresses stained. The plumbing to the bathroom is in very poor condition with the personal bidet hand-shower leaked causing the floor to wet and slippery which was reported but nothing done about during the 4 days we stayed. The breakfast which was included was reasonable the first morning due to low number of guests you were offered a menu to choose your food but on the 2nd and 3rd morning having busloads of locals stay there was a buffet provided which had a vast choice of food on offer except for the toast (which you cooked) all food that should be hot wasn't it was cold even though it was presented in a bain-marie. I also must mention that with the busload of guests came the Karaoke which was held in the lobby area directly below our bedroom fortunately this didn't go too late into the night but being woken by drunks trying to find their room didn't help us sleep. The important thing is the danger of using the swimming pool the water had turned green due to chemical imbalance and the cleaning method used is a submersible pump which has a filter bag attached which is connected to the electricity through a power board very close to the edge of the pool (see attached photo) and this was during the hours guests had access to the pool. I had to demand that the electrical equipment be removed from the pool and the power moved away which was promptly put back after I had left the pool area. This shows a complete disregard for the welfare and safety of the guests. At first (1) as we came to this hotel, receptionist not found my booking, we searched both name & booking agoda number, i see not professional from this hotel, Once (2) we got the key from them, no bellboy no asked for bag delivery to A11-A12, we all 6 person self serviced to our room (3) when we reached our room, where is seaview, we was deceived, i saw only mango trees from three window sight. Someone cheating us, either agoda or hotel's sale person, poor standard for separate garden view from seaview (4) we try to change room from receptionist at this time 1 p.m. all room fully booking and guess already came, this brought upset again, i dont believe every room came since friday, i reach Klang, Rayong since 11am and call to this hotel, receiver advise me come at 2pm as condition show.
