La Kawa is hands down the best restaurant in the Rayong area, no competition and very happy we found it. Fantastic selection of Thai, and European cuisine, and incredible owners that are always very accommodating. The location is also really nice, being nestled away from busy roads so the scenery and atmosphere are peaceful with relaxing music in the background. We had a great time here with some mellow French music in the background. Tenderlion steak was very tender and prepared with French sauce, some what peppery and infused with rosemary. The burger was a bit too sweet with bbq sauce. I ordered stewed beef with pasta. The beef stew was excellent while the pasta is just a bit undercooked. We had a fabulous experience. I had the duck confit and it was immaculately prepared - delicious! The presentation was very attractive. One of the owners, Jean-Marc (if I remember his name correctly) was very welcoming, and also apologetic when we wished to order something that wasn't available.
