This is probably one of the best hostel / accomodation we have ever stayed in. We spent almost a week at Pillow & Bread and would have quite happily spent much longer there! Here's a few things we loved about the place:

The staff: Always available and happy to help. Very easy to talk to, we checked out at 3am to go to the airport and someone was there to return our key deposit. Had a nice chat with the lady owner one day and she let me see her 5 pugs! Really lovely people!

The facilities: Co-working space is fantastic! A very good space to get some work done, there's even a decent Bluetooth speaker I kept hooking up to while in there. It's also filled with at least a hundred pokemon plushies! A basic kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle. As well as a free ice machine. Drinking water machine can be used at 1 baht per litre. Free washer machines, just buy detergent at 7-eleven. Ample bathrooms on each floor, never felt too busy and never had to wait in line. Always cleaned daily! Free toast and jam in the morning :)

The location: We loved this location, there's enough around but still quite off of the main road. Lots of greenery to make it feel tropical. There's a 7-eleven just a minutes walk down the road, with a Lotus next door. There's also an amazing vegetarian jay restaurant a minute road the corner where we ate lunch every day for 40-60 baht. 10 minute walk to the nearest BTS station too, Saphan Kwai. It's also well connected between both DMK and BKK airport!

The room: We stayed in a private double room which had plenty of space! Balcony was a nice touch as we had a view of the skyline and could hang out laundry outside. A/C worked very well, we also had a fan we made use of too!

Thank you for hosting us in a home away from home, absolutely recommend this place. I hope we can return...

Great option to spend a few nights in Bangkok. Comfortable and clean!

Rooms: super spacious, the a/c works great, the private room has its own small balcony with chairs and a place for you to hang your clothes to dry. You have a desk to work or do whatever you want. Points of improvement: somehow there were a lot of ants in the desk, but there wasn’t a big deal. Power outlets and a small furniture beside the bed would be very helpful. Internet: worked very well inside the room, so it was great. Bathroom: I believe there are enough toilets and showers for everyone so it does never get crowded. Shower is good and toilet was clean most of the times (just a matter of other guests respecting the place). The toilet cabins could be a little bigger, but it is not a big deal. A small soap is provided when you arrive but there is no shampoo. Big plus: They provide bread and jam from 6 to 10 every morning, coffee and hot water all day long and you can use the laundry machine for free as well. Amenities: the common area is small but great. They also have a room for people to work with a/c, so if you need to work, that’s your place. Staff: staff is super nice, very helpful and smiley. They all spoke a very good english. Location: very good in our point of view. It is in a quiet area, but fairly close to buses and BTS station (15min walking). Summing up, we would definitely stay here again and we believe it is one of the best choices in Bangkok (price...

Wonderful budget hostel.

Location is great, in an alley but a very short walk from the main road, not noisy. Everything you may need is all around, public transportation not far from reach. Convinient location if you are aiming for chatuchak weekend market or don mueang airport.

Friendly and happy staff. We could communicate perfectly in English.

I booked a Budget double room. Big! Big bed, space to do yoga, desk, clothes rack, AC, TWO fans just incase. The balcony is cute and little with clothes drying rack. If I was a smoker, I would enjoy smoking out there.

Free laundry. Wow! Everywhere I've stayed it was painful to pay 40 baht for a 3-4 clothing item to wash and another 40 to dry. This service is very useful. Especially in rainy humid weather.

There's outdoor seating/ work space. Yes bread and jam every morning if that's your ... Jam. Free Nescafe all day/night. Free ice! Refrigerator on every floor, plus kitchen. You can cook your own food.

The 20+ year old pug is the boss. Please give him love for goodluck.

Note: There are no elevators. Not wheelchair friendly.

Only thing I can complain about is that the WC are so small and claustrophobic. male and female together. Yes it's LGBTQ+ friendly but as a woman I'm not comfortable sharing. With m and f washrooms, the human can choose where they want to go I suppose? But more than this, it's just the tiny space...
