Sam Sen Nai Philatelic Museum, the must-go museum for postage stamp lovers, located near BTS Saphan Kwai Exit 1. You will see Post cafe where pies, cakes, coffee and tea are nice then walk into an entrance next to it. Free admission. The museum is on the 2nd floor of the building right in front of the entrance gate. The exhibition tells the history of stamps in Thailand, stamps from various countries categories by continents and few games to have fun with. English description is available. The librarian there is a very nice and friendly lady. You can ask for a card to collect 7 rubber stamps. The card with complete 7 rubber stamps can be exchanged with a coin token to use with a Gachapon machine...

Free museum charting the history of postal services in Thailand. It also has many stamps exhibited on pull-out boards including the first stamps produced in Thailand. Being a Brit, it was a joy to see they have the first stamp ever produced "The Penny Black". It was a Sunday when I visited, the museum is on the 2nd floor, but there were some stamp collectors/traders on the first floor. Two young employees in the museum made me smile, they were following me around and I think wanting to practise their English with me. But lovely lads supporting Liverpool in the football league, well...

Small yet comprehensive museum. I like the way they have organized the exhibition topics, materials and interactive elements. Most exhibition texts are in Thai and English. There's also a library inside of the museum. The staff is friendly. The entry is completely free of charge. It's suitable for stamp lovers but also for people who are interested in history, families with children who might be looking for a calm weekend activity etc. The museum is located on the 2nd floor of a building that is right at the Saphan Kwai BTS station. Went on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded at all. Highly...
