We stayed here twice. 1st trip on 2nd June and the other was 5th June. We were on our way to Phuket (driving) so Hat Yai is a pit stop.
Booked Standard Double. The 1st time, they joined both single beds and neither of us had comfortable sleep. The water heater wasn't working and when it rained, water was seeping through the windows. The Bidet was also not functioning. We didn't make a complaint since we're there for a short while.
The second time we were on our way back from Phuket, we booked Standard King. However, the AC was not functioning. It was at 35 degrees and later was down to 28 and that was the lowest. We complained and they sent their engineer. The lady at counter said the hotel was fully booked. My husband made some noise and we got our rooms changed to standard singles. But this time the heater and bidet was functioning.
Breakfast is good but they don't top up the sandwiches and cakes much. But good spread for a small hotel. Kids below 140cm is 150bhat.
Also the standard rooms are in building 2. If you want a room in the main building, then you need to book superior room.
Parking is ample and they also have basement parking and disable friendly ramp.
Location is near to ASEAN and Greenlane Night Market which is walkable about 5 mins walk.
Also max water is 2 bottles per day. They don't give more...

ย ย ย Read moreThis is a pretty new hotel. The main building has limited rooms and the Sriphu Park building accommodates most guests.
Due to large ball rooms are available, the hotel will sometimes fully occupied when conferences are in work. Last minute booking could be disappointed.
We have a team of ten with six of them made last minute decision will have to stay at Crystal.
Overall the facilities are satisfactory. The best consideration is the beach sandals and bath robes provided. Beach sandles are more practical and environmental friendly than the disposable slippers. International power points provided is a plus.
The bathroom is a bit narrow but the stand up shower room is spacious. May be due to architectural design limitation. The position of the faucet at the sink is a bit awkward, an error at installation.
The Shower floor is not slippery when wet but will be slippery when soaped would cause accidents. Lacking of handrail is not user freindly as well not considering for elderly.
Breakfast is plentiful and fresh brew coffee...
