Larn Ta Chu Steakhouse — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

This place is more expensive than the average Hat Yai restaurant, but the quality of the food and service is higher. Parking is awkward at the front on Sripoowanart Road, but there is a car park at the back. On my last couple of visits, I've just had a tuna salad, but it was very good with fresh ingredients and no free insects. My son said that the crab fried rice I bought him as a takeaway was very good. Larn Ta Chu is probably a bit too expensive for most people to eat there regularly, but fine for a special occasion. The place is spacious and minimally but nicely decorated. I went in the late afternoon and parking was not a problem. The food was nice, though not that great. The price was, however, reasonable.

I was here twice in 10 days. The first time we (2 of us) were the only customers in the restaurant and the service was quite good. The second time it was a bit crowded and we had a different waiter who provided decent service but he didn't seem knowledgeable enough about the food or the restaurant's promotional programs.
