I will never eat at Golden Beach again. We arrived at 18:15 and asked to order. The waiter ignored us so we asked again. Another man came by to finally explain that they aren’t open for another 15 minutes but we can order drinks. ||We ordered goat cheese salad, which was more like leaves picked off of a tree (but the cheese was amazing for someone who hasn’t had real cheese in a year) and an Hawaiian pizza. The waitress came over after FORTY-FIVE MINUTES to tell us that they were out of ham, “Do you still want that pizza?” My dinner mate decided yes. Five minutes later, a waiter walked by with a giant plate of ham. ||For desert we ordered ice-cream and cappuccino. The menu said that cappuccino was 2,000fCFA. The receipt came back saying it was 3,000fCFA and even when we complained to the waitress, we still had to pay 3,000. Also, we were charged full price for the pizza even though it had no meat on it. When she informed us that (supposedly) there was no ham, we had requested another type of meat that we did not receive.||Not to mention they played the football game on a projector which attracted lots of loud children off the street. This isn’t an everyday occurrence but it happened.||Finally, if you choose to eat outside, because the hotel is located on the beach road, there is lots of noise and obnoxious trucks and cars that honk...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving at 11AM on the hotel’s LFW Airport shuttle. A French/English-speaking receptionist copied our passports while we filled out a police form, then gave our key card to the porter who carried our bags to the elevator and up to the 3rd floor.|Room #309 was tiled, opening to a fully outfitted bathroom with a large tiled shower, all in perfect condition with quick hot water. Large closet with a safe, refer, hot pot, coffee & water, then a comfortable king across a large TV with good reception(~10 French channels/no English), desk & chair with an easy chair. The insulated double window had a city view over the pool.|The spacious room has proper lighting, many outlets, quiet AC, decent secure WIFI and was serviced daily.|The 6:30 AM breakfast buffet was fully supplied well after 7AM; OJ, ripe fruits, corn flakes, omelet/hard boiled eggs, hot/cold meats, cheese, yogurt, breads/croissants/rolls/cake and decaf/coffee.|We swam in the pool, had lunch twice(Hawaiian Pizza & Grilled Grouper w/fries/veggies in their 4th floor restaurant, crossed to the nice Deveena Sarl supermarket and walked the city center, market, cathedral, beach, palace and national museum.|This is a practical, clean and comfortable hotel with a small reception lobby & a...

Hi, I thought I would give some comments here, as I read some things here that bothered me. I had no choice but to take this hotel as it was part of a conference (all other hotels were full). I met the owner, he was quiet but didn't come across as too unfriendly. It is not a 'real' hotel with a large lobby and whatnot. It is a small place with rooms that reminded me more of my sons dorm room. That being the case it was clean and reasonable and just near the beach (can't swim there, but it is a nice view). Note that they do not give shampoo so you need to bring your own...It is true that the restaurant seems to have a problem with quick service. Something not quite right there...for another nice place to eat turn left out ofthe hotel, then turn another left at the hotel belle view sign. You will see the belle view restaurant just down the street. Not bad food and...

Hôtel du Golfe in Lomé is a place to go. The waiters and people serving there are really good, attentive to the needs of customers and guests. Rooms are great, spacious and clean. Most of them have a great view either to the pool or to the sea out there. I found that rooms higher up (3rd floor) could have issues of low water pressure, but nothing that could undermine your stay (at least t from my humble so caution). The restaurant at the rooftop has a splendid view, dedicated waiters and excellent service. The food is exquis. Hmmmm: I loved staying there and recommend as a must go for accommodation, business, a short meeting or just to reflect and write.

Right in the heart of Togo. I had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel du Golfe. It was the perfect location. Beautiful hotel with nice clean large rooms. I enjoyed my meals there especially up on the rooftop. You are able to shop in the markets that surround the hotel or walk across the street to the beach. There is also a small convenient shop directly across the street for any essentials you may have forgotten to pack.

This has to be one of the best hotels in Lome. The customer service is next to none, the food is great, The restaurant prep time is very short and your food gets ready in no time. The rooms are large and homely. The staff are perfectly bilingual. The pool and rooftop get very animated during weekends. I just love this place.
