During my recent stay in Lomé, I had the opportunity to dine at Maharaja — a restaurant that truly lives up to its name. I enjoyed both lunch and dinner here, and I must say, it’s nothing short of a food heaven for Indian cuisine lovers. From the moment you step inside, *Maharaja* transports you into an ambiance that resembles a royal palace. The interiors are tastefully designed with ornate décor, rich paintings, elegant table settings, and intricately selected cutlery — all contributing to a luxurious and culturally immersive dining experience. The staff is courteous, attentive, and helpful, making the overall experience even more delightful. I sampled dishes from both North and South Indian menus, and to my pleasant surprise, the authenticity and taste were consistently exceptional across both. The spices, flavors, and presentation were thoughtfully executed, making every dish a memorable one. The ambience is perfect for a relaxed, enjoyable meal — whether you're dining solo, with colleagues, or hosting guests. Maharaja is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. I highly recommend it to Indians visiting Togo and anyone curious to explore the richness of Indian culinary traditions. A must-visit if you’re in Lomé!

Maharaja is firstly a very beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is unique . They paid attention to the small details. I wasn't expecting much too be honest but I was baffled. The food was really really good. From the welcome bread to the desert , I felt like in India. The waiter knew his menu and was able to explain, and give recommendation. It was a really good moment.... I recommend 🙂.

Love it! I've eaten here many times and tried dine-in, pick-up, and delivery. The generous portions make it worth the cost additionally to being delish. My favorite order experience remains dine-in because of the ambiance and decor; but their delivery service is pretty solid too. Meal recommendation: garlic naan and lamb korma with a coconut barfi for dessert❤️

My husband and I visited the restaurant for lunch. We were greeted very warmly by the restaurant manager and showered to our table. Tastefully decorated with accents of Indian arts and crafts. The plates and napkins are all customised in the Moghul theme. The ambience was completed with instrumentals of popular Bollywood songs from the yesteryears. We ordered a veg and non veg thaalies. Veg thaali - 2 pcs Hara bhara kebabs, Dal makhani, mixed veg with mushrooms, boondi raita, green salad, butter paratha, rice and coconut suji halwa. Non veg thaali - 2 pcs chicken tikka,Butter chicken masala, butter naan, gulab jamun and the same accompaniments as in the veg thaali. The food took about 45 minutes to be served (reasonable considering that it was close to closing time, we were the last guests and it was a public holiday). The wait was easier with roasted papad and yummy condiments. The food was well worth the wait. We relished each dish and besides one bowl of rice, cleaned everything off our plates. Really enjoyed the afternoon. Thank you team...

I recently visited this Indian restaurant and was blown away by the incredible flavors and spices in every dish and the curries were rich and flavorful. The service was excellent too, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. Can't wait to come back and try...
