First of all, we would travel to Tunisia again because it was our third time. We love the country, the weather and even the people. We booked our vacation in October, so it was low season. Perhaps you will get more to offer if you go there in summer. Please don’t take a flight to Tunis, because it’s a long way the get to the hotel (it can be 3 hours). We had a family room with a door between and a wonderful view to the sea. Perfect. And we had two balconies with one of them in a huge size. The hotel has 3 stars and we knew that we can’t expect any luxury. But especially the bathroom has to be renovated. We booked "All Inclusive" and could eat more than 3 times a day. The staffs at the restaurant were friendly and quite lovely to talk with. The meals were nearly different every day and you can choose several things from the salad buffet. They bake fresh pizza and other things like grilled meat. You can take different things from the dessert buffet and also get several non-alcoholic drinks or even wine. But you don’t get a clean table or clean glasses every time. We often had to ask for several things like glasses or cutlery. We didn’t do any trips, but your tour guides offers many things like sailing with a pirate ship or do a quad tour. Next to the pool there is a “wellness area”. You will definitely meet a friendly man and woman who offer good massages, hairdresser or cosmetic applications. Please try it – you will be more relaxed! And even on the beach there are some people who offer different fun sports like paragliding or jet skiing. At the low season you have a big choice getting a lounger. You needn’t to reserve them early in the morning. Still the same at the pool. The beach has fine-grain sand and the water is refreshing. At the beach bar you can get some drinks, but not for free. If you are an “All inclusive” guest you have to catch your drinks at the hotel bar. That’s not a good idea. The pool needs refurbishment. We found countless tiles on the ground. You will find a tiny pool for children with a little water slide. Not a big deal. Many children and even the adults will love the big 3 slides. You can have really big fun with them. At our holiday there was no kids club, just one time painting things on the children faces. That was really sad. And the playground I do not have to mention. We enjoyed our free days only because of the guys of the animation team Sam, Tito and DJo. They filled our days and evenings with lots of fun and great talks. They tried to do their best with less material to wake up the guests to move a little bit at French balls, darts, water aerobics or water polo. And they don’t annoy you, are always friendly and speak many different languages. Probably more than other person at the hotel. Sometimes we felt a little bit sad because most of the guests didn’t want to visit the evening shows which the animation team prepared. So it can be really boring. But mostly they did a mini disco, which those kids who stayed at the hotel this moment loved to do. They often stay in contact with all tourists and always smile, making them laugh and enjoy the time. We think they need much more support especially with equipment. Because they are the first contact persons for every guest of asking question. BUT: there was a thing that destroyed our good feelings. The security kicked us out two times to go into our rooms and not sitting at the reception in the evening. We didn’t make any loud screams or other things. We only sat there and talked to the animation team. How unfriendly and unprofessional is this? You can’t sit at the lobby in the evening? We couldn’t talk to the security for asking “why” because lack of language. And the receptionist got angry saying things that aren’t real. The animation team tried to solve the problem because nobody knew what we made wrong. This happened at our last 2 days before leaving. Not a great happy end. We think there are things which have to be clarified. And also unprofessional staff has to go and...
Read moreReception, restaurant and pool staff are amazing. Fun, friendly and very helpful. Guys in the shop all lovely and very very helpful. Can't fault them. Some lovely gifts or snacks to buy. What they don't have they will get as there are 5 shops they manage. Nothing is too much trouble. Adele will take you to shops or bank if needed. He is very kind. Salem and the guys always had big smiles for us. Sadly same cannot be said for some of the Annimation team. Mums and young ladies beware.. Snoopy, Freed (manager) and titoo tell lies, want girlfriends for visa as well as give sob stories for money. My grandaughter was taken for lunch then they took her to a cash machine to take out money for them. The are very skillfully at turning on the charm and sob stories. They are now trying to say she gave the money willingly? They should never take money from holiday makers. I have heard from a family who are still there that another person has also been scammed for money. The young guys are lovely but the other 3? ... We were told several times things like, I have been sacked but turns out a lie. They get you get them alcohol, Snoopy took/kept 2 pairs of sunglasses belonging to my grandaughter. They help themselves to your drinks, cigarettes, whatever they want but make it a fun/joke thing. They pressure young girls to say they will be their girlfriend. Then get angry if they talk to other men. I saw this for myself. All to get a visa. I had 3 people tell me while there recently that my grandaughter gave Snoopy money as she was taken to cash machine. When I spoke with him he said it was only £40? It was 3 x £81.44. They caused us a lot of distress and spoilt our holiday. Picture below...
Read moreWe booked this hotel as a last minute holiday somewhat sceptical after reading some of the reviews but I can honestly say we was pleasantly surprised!! Both my children loved it the staff go above and beyond for you and are so friendly, Ahmed and adel in the hotel shop are amazing and provided us with a trip in to sousse which was a great day out!! Captain Jimmy had a verity of trips and activities to do and will always make sure you’re happy, Saad from the spa is so lovely and will provide you with massages facials ect…|The waiters and the bar staff are also great! One particular person for us was Salah he always got us a table ready with our little bubbas high chair really made meal times easier! Talking about food for us it was ok and there was loads of traditional Tunisian food if your the type of person who goes abroad and expects a full English and chicken nuggets this place isn’t for you. |The only down side to this hotel is that it needs an update the rooms are a little dated and some tiles around the pool etc but it is lovely and clean overall! |Also something we wasn’t expecting was the water slides are only available a couple of times a day for an hour at a time but when your there you can understand why as there is only one pool so it gives everyone a chance to enjoy! |Overall I would recommend this hotel and do believe that it will get updated ect in time and become a really...
