21st September 2025||I spent a fair bit of time reading reviews before we arrived, and was a little anxious, but having been here for a week or so now I can honestly say that any reservations I had were unfounded, and that we’ve really enjoyed our stay! ||I’ll start with some Top Tips:||Plugs in the rooms are limited, so worth bringing an extension cable with you to avoid arguments! Also, the cups that are used for beer and soft drinks are tiny, vending machine sizes, so if you prefer a larger beer with your meal bring a festival-style recyclable pint cup, which the barman will be happy to fill for you!||2 litre bottles of water are available (free) from the bar, and there’s a small shop in the foyer that sells biscuits and chocolate if you have a sweet tooth!||Internet-wise, the Hotel WiFi is ok, but if you want to have access whilst you are out and about, or at the furthest end of the pool, download the Airalo eSIM app, and buy an unlimited data plan for Tunisia for about £35, which the whole family can use via hotspot, all week, without interruption.||Beach towels are available, but we brought our own anyway, and there are plenty of sunbeds to go round, although the ones on the grass tend to suffer a little from small biting insects after about 5pm, so watch out!||Hotel:|Overall, pretty decent - probably somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Rooms clean and cool, Air-Con good, staff friendly and happy to help, and the entertainment team were excellent lads, doing a really good job in encouraging us unwilling Brits to get up and dance!! There were a few guys circulating around selling trips, tattoos and massages, but as long as you’re happy to give them a polite but firm ‘no thanks’ if you’re not interested, they’re no problem at all.||The food was perfectly ok, despite some other comments that I read! If, like us, you booked this Hotel as part of a cheap deal, you can’t then realistically expect the cuisine to be cordon-blue! I’d recommend either going at the start or towards the end of service, as things can get a little busy in the middle, and be prepared to muck in a little. Don’t expect fresh, clean linen and waiter service - grab a plate, choose some food and get on with it - there is a reasonable choice, and there’s plenty of it, so you won’t go hungry! ||The Hotel itself is a little isolated, which is fine if you want to just flop for a week, but if not I’d definitely recommend a quick trip to Monastir for a look round. We paid 60 dinar for a return trip in a yellow taxi which we got from right outside the Hotel, so super easy - we arranged for the driver to drop us off at the Medina, and then collect us again about 3 hours later, and we paid him when we got back to the Hotel, which he was more than happy with. There is a fort in Monastir which, for a couple of quid. , you can have a walk round, an interesting mausoleum, and then the Medina itself - it’s a hagglers dream, but be prepared to be hassled all the way through!! Good fun though, if you engage with the shopkeepers, as they’re all just trying to make a living! We felt perfectly safe there, and there were plenty of tourists about, as well as Police, so nothing to worry about.||Activity-wise, the Hotel is on a loop road with minimal traffic, so as a runner I was able to run in a loop pretty much end to end, which was 6km, but best to go at about 5:30pm, just as the sun sets, as otherwise it’s bloody hot! The Hotel gym is poor, but ok if you feel the need to work off a few doughnuts, and the swimming pool is a decent enough size to do a few lengths, particularly around 12:30 when lunch starts and the pool empties.||The Hotel also has its own private beach just over the road - we didn’t use it, but apparently it has its own beach bar etc, and some water-based activities are available if that’s what you are after.||Overall, we had a great week - it was cheap, the staff were fun, and the food was plentiful - don’t worry about the negative reviews, it’s...

First off this hotel is by no means a four star! More like a two star. Room is very standard and expensive for what it is.

If you are females travelling alone, you will be given unwanted attention by staff members, and offered to have drinks in their room or your room... if you like this sort of thing this hotel maybe right up your alley, I found it annoying!

The room only has only one plug! So it’s difficult to charge phones if yr sharing a room, the safe is 3 dinar a day.

Flies are everywhere so be warned!

Don’t bother ringing front desk as they never answer the phone.

The pool area is exceptional. The animation team do work hard, they entertain the children all day and night, the kids seem to love them! They have patience! Very professional, maybe the animation team need to work teaching skills as they are always polite, and happy, clearly enjoying what they do!

The way treatments are delivered are great, the masseuses’ are well trained!! However expect that churning out experience when booking, and there is not that personal touch. Also yr in a hotel so it won’t be in a traditional setting. Ie/ no drinks like water on offer, no tea or coffee....once yr in...just gave yr treatment and see you later!

Get a cash point machine, or take Card to give your patrons Dinar! and tell yr staff to stop sending ppl to the clinic, as they WILL NOT change yr money or take yr card to give you money.

the crepe and the 🍩 doughnut hut!! Firstly at the crepe stall we waited 45 mins that is ridiculous, that’s loss of tan time! I was eaten to death by the flies waiting and nearly lost the will to live!! My friend said the doughnut guy was cooking one at a time when he could have made at least 6 at a time!! She gave up!

Food is re-used- I suppose it prevents wastage 😳, however towards the end of the week when I was ill again with the runs and on the last day my friend had D&V, re-using food may not be ideal.

Another quip is Ditch those small paper cups! There a health and safety Hazard as they melt and flop with hot water, and you need to use two not to burn yourself! Why can one NOT get tea after 11pm?????? And why on earth would you close the lobby lights???Tea and coffee should be available 24hrs!! That free bar should be manned 24hrs a day!

Stop wasting money paying people to walk around annoying people in regards to going to the spa or booking trips!

They turn off the lights on the stairs, and they are marble. I find this a really big health and safety issue (health and safety is non existent out here!).

Bingo is a 10 TN charge for 1 ticket!! Put me down now!!! It’s not alot of money £3 however I begrudge paying this when there no entertainment for adults and it’s meant to be ALL INCLUSIVE. It’s all about the money here. And it was not the bingo we brits have in mind, it’s more like a raffle.

Also if you want a cocktail be prepared to pay 12TN as they not free either!! They advertise cocktails in pictures all over the bars and hotel!

There was a lovely young man by the bar and tea machine, called Fkhreddine Lasnef (AKA Frankie).

one evening one member of the reception team seemed quite taken by my friend, only to give her a flower and offer her back to his room for a nightcap! ‘Just a friendly drink mind’ 🤔🤔🤔 It’s like a chapter out of that book ‘online dating: Dates of the unexpected’ the writer needs to add a new chapter men abroad and their attitudes!

manicure and pedicures don’t have base and topcoats, so by evening my nails had chipped

Giving unwanted attention, such as offers of drinks in rooms, under the pretence nothing will happen 🤔 is unprofessional on all levels.

Also the idea of having to book to the day before to eat at the beach hut, ala crate or BBQ hut is pointless as some people do not know what they are...

Rooms are OK. Nice size wardrobes, you have a tv and can get one english station. There is a balcony with two chairs and a table. Bathroom very dated but workable With a hair dryer. Made service every single day , but if you do not want to be disturbed , you have to make sure you put the sign on the door or else be prepared for maid service to come into your room early morning. All staff are really friendly and lovely and always happy to help. One member of the staff constantly asked for ten dimer to get you a drink, which was very rude. The swimming pool was the best part of it, nice and warm and big and lots of places to sit and relax. Food... well, my partner loved the food and had no problems with it at all. There is lots of food from early morning till night at night. The only thing I could think of was not great. Is no ice creams or lollies on hand all day?Apart from if you wanted to buy them. Drinks where ok. Entertainment was OK for the first 3 days there. We were not sure what was going on as I was not told, but 1 day 4 entertainments staff made it very clear. What was going on every day at all times. Beach across the road , which we chose not to use. Use as there wasn't lots of jellyfish in the sea, and everyone kept getting stung. The sand was boiling hot , so we chose just to stay by the pool. They offer trips out from Quarter by ten , which was twenty-five pounds each person. Camel rides, which were twenty-five pounds per person. A trip to an island where you could go diving and have lunch on the island, which is forty pounds each. The man. That runs the shop offers to take you into town and it's very helpful. There is not anything else about really without a bus or taxi. We arrived at the hotel at midnight and were greeted by security staff, which helped to carry our luggage in. We then had to fill out paperwork and pay taxes before going to our room. We had to ask for drinks as everywhere had closed and were given 2 bottles of water. On leaving the hotel, we were very disappointed as we had paid to keep the room for a bit longer as we were not due to fly out till later on, so wanted the room in order to go back and get changed and relax before we left. However, while we were showering, a very cross man came to the. Door banging and shouting, telling us that we had to get out when we tried explaining that we had paid on arrival to keep the room for longer he. Change frost to go downstairs and talk front desk by which point we were stressed out and fed up showered and left. We handed the keys back to the front desk and didn't. 't even get a thank you for staying.Or anything just took the keys.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we had with my partner. We were in Tunisia for a week, hotel Liberty flying from KE to Monastir. Our flight was delayed but it didn't matter at all, the transfer was waiting for us, everything went fine - even the check in controls there and back. Service in the hotel was great, diverse food - European and local cuisine, water was warm, sea was clean in the morning, then we caught some storm debris from Italy, but it was just a natural "mess" floating in the water, no garbage. Beware of jellyfish :) I have to give a special mention to the always smiling staff, from the receptionists, waiters, cleaners, housekeepers, cooks and chefs and animators.... Thank you, guys! I would like to specially mention a member of the animators named Salaas nicknamed Sabri, or vice versa,( I'm sorry I don't remember). We met first time on the beach and he is a very pleasant, kind, always good-humored man with whom we had good conversations in fluent English about practically everything- family, culture, religion, differences.... He even came to say goodbye to us at the end of our stay, which my partner and I appreciated very much. Salaas, thank you for the time you gave us and some nice conversations and we wish you all the best in your life! And back to the hotel- was clean and nice, tidy, I even had my pyjamas arranged in the shape of a seashell in my room... And different every time :) The fact that the downstairs toilets between reception were sometimes dirty but is more the fault of the people who go to the restaurant toilets in wet swimsuits and from the sand and don't even wipe their dirt off, it's not the fault of the hotel or the service. There would always be faults but for us the satisfaction outweighs that. I'm disabled and I have to say that the people there are better and more empathetic than Europeans - who have literally tripped me a few times with the walking stick I'm supporting myself on while walking just to catch some freshly fried chips. Europeans and Slovaks, it's sad that we can't see further from our noses. Anyway, it was a beautiful sunny week and thank you for making our summer more enjoyable with your work. Sincerely Ing. Following the pictures posted by Loveholidays, I booked at Ramada Liberty Hotel my 1 st year wedding anniversary. What a disaster... The hotel is rated as 4*, but I can barely say 2*. The rooms are big but dated, the bathroom is the worst from the entire room, the towels are already yellow instead of white and torne, the shower is either too cold either too hot without anyone touching it, the internet connection is working only in the communal areas and if there is alot of people at the same time that wont be the case either. The buffet, oh my days. It was days when we was eating crisps from the hotel shop...and when we could actually found something to eat it was resulting in a stomach pain and sickness that even imodium wasnt strong enough... the omlete or pancakes was undone. The pool wasnt clean either. Plus the tables from the buffet area was sooo dirty everytime we went there. And the list can go on... The receptionists never made us feel welcome there. I did reported twice in a day and another 2 following days to different people that we have trouble with the AC and to send someone only to clean it abit as it was full of dust, no one ever come... Finally on the anniversary day we went to the restaurant manager to ask to buy a bottle of wine, but we didnt had any cash left so we had to pay by card at the reception. He seemed so kind and nice, until he said something to the girl who was charging me in his language and the girl from no where changed the transition from 50dinars as he told me to 60 dinars. At that moment I understood what he actually said to her and I asked her to change it back cuz this is not ok. She did it, but that shouldnt even be the case. Per total it was an upseting experience.  We went for a good time but it was issue after issue. Waste of time and money.
