Pros; ||Good breakfast||Cons: ||1-Don’t go to this hotel. They steal your money.||2-The staff bark your leg.They are rude, all the time like hospital they said hiss to you and don’t let you sit in the lobby.||3-While you’re in your room and hang “don’t disturb “ tag, the cleaners coming to your room.||4- They don’t understand English.||5- All rooms and common area smells on cigarette and sewer smell.||6-Carpets in all rooms and common areas are stained.||7- Refrigerators didn’t work, no ironing in the room, no tissues in the room and they charge you if you make their towels dirty.||8- All beds are twin, while you requesting Queen bed.||9- In their website they said kids stay for free, but they lie and charge you for kids.||10- Sauna and hamunam didn’t work and you have to make appointment.||11- you can’t sit in the lobby, they send you...

Ankara is a busy, bustling and bewildering city. The Ilci Residence Hotel - conveniently locaed in the midst of Ankara's near-chaos - is an oasis of calm. My room seemed traditionally appointed by Turkish standards: compact, dark woods and entirely comfortable. I had a quiet, side-street view with a window that let in cooling fresh air. The breakfast fare (extra charge) was both diverse and healthy. Unfortunately, the hotel was unwilling and/or unable to provide me with the wireless Internet connectivity promised on their website. We enjoyed our two nights at this hotel. It’s well located, within walking distance to restaurants and bars. There’s a fantastic Hamam right next door, very affordable. The parking is small but just give the key to the valet and he’ll take care of it. Also loved that we gave them a bag of laundry to clean early afternoon thinking we’ll get it back the next day, and they had it washed, folded and pressed only a few hours later and didn’t charge us extra for express service. The room was adequate, had a lovely view of Atatürk Monument. If ever in Ankara again, I’ll stay...
