This year alone, I've stayed at more than 50 hotels. LoveYou Hotel is without question the worst hotel I've ever stayed in; and not just because the building is poorly maintained, but due to the incredible incompetence of the staff.||1. I entered the room to discover the toilet was not cleaned; urine and feces lined the rim. I found a maid and told her. Nothing was done about it.||2. When checking in, I asked for water to be delivered to the room. After waiting an hour, I went downstairs and asked again. The receptionist was surprised I hadn't yet received it, and replied he'd have water delivered up right away. I stayed two nights, and not one drop of drinkable water was ever provided; this, in a country where tap water cannot be consumed before boiling.||3. Upon returning to the room the second day, I discovered that all of my things were gone. It was 1:00 in the morning. I went downstairs to advise reception that my room was completely cleaned out, as though I had checked out. Reception's response was that I would need to deal with it in the morning. I insisted that I be provided with a toothbrush and toothpaste at least. It took the hotel 45 minutes to deliver a dental kit to me.||4. In the morning, I was advised that the maid had made a mistake, thinking that I had checked out (but somehow left my things in the room), and threw away everything except for a shirt, underwear, and a pair of socks, which were returned to me. The maid was extremely defensive, yelling at reception, saying that she couldn't have possibly known that I hadn't checked out if she wasn't able to find any luggage bag in the room. The receptionist told me there was a communication problem with the maids, as they are all hired from Moldova and do not speak Turkish.||5. Funnily enough, although the maid "cleaned out my room," which involved her throwing away my belongings, she neglected to empty any of the two waste baskets, still did not clean the toilet, and the same stain on the pillow case was there, which indicates she did not change the pillow case for the potential next guest.||6. There is zero wi-fi signal in the room, contrary to advertising.||7. Refrigerator was plugged in, but did not work.||8. Bathroom mirror was cracked.||9. Safe didn't lock.||10. Shower door couldn't close, and so water easily sprayed onto the floor.||11. Shower interior was extremely dirty and rusty.||12. I talked to several guests, and every single one was as equally repulsed by the condition of this hotel, as well as dissatisfied with the staff's lack of attention and complete absence of...

Read moreWe picked this hotel initially because they allowed small dogs. From the outset they were not keen on having our little King Charles around the hotel, complaining that he was not allowed to swim in the pool. ||We of course would never let him swim in the pool, but somebody said he was. Anyway to summarize the hotel, the rooms are a tad strange with the ceilings and parts of the walls in bare concrete with wires showing etc etc, they call it retro.||||The hotel is an all inclusive stay, but what you actually get is very little. Regarding food, breakfast is the bare basics and the same every day. Lunch and dinner again very little choice. Chicken was served everyday, for lunch and dinner. Getting service while eating was near impossible if you wanted a coffee you had to go and find a waiter if you could or go up to reception and get it yourself.||||Going onto pool service again very few staff around, and most times they never served what you asked for. If you ordered anything to eat they served your food with no knife and fork or ketchup etc. regarding drinks you had one choice of beer Tuborg draft and that was it. ||||What ever you do do not use the pool side toilets, they were awful, going onto room service after 9pm they charge you so it's not all inclusive, they brought a beer to our room without a glass twice. The only food was a toasted cheese sandwich.||||Their website says the beach is 300 meters away, try 2 kilometers away, and even then it was a marina. ||You need a car to get around if you stay here. To sum up my review. This is not a cheap hotel and for the price you can do...
