Right just wondering were to start from.

This hotel can not be 5 stars this is the first thing in my mind, if anyone has been to 5 star hotels in turkey they would strongly see this upon entry. Iv been coming to cesme for 10 years+ im not a boutique hotel person I personally prefer the so called 5 star experience iv used other 5 star hotels around the same area from this hotel and i can tell you that its much more luxurious than this, this year my family wanted to attend to a different hotel as iv been going to same hotel for many years so we looked at the pictures and thought lets give it a go, as I stated this hotel is more like a 2/3 star hotel.

Upon entry my worries started as i drove into the hotel i saw all the cars are scattered everywere - security upon entry just lifted barriers without questions pulled in vale promptly came over to collect luggages very helpful guy (Aygun) at vale i started think where is my car going to be parked as you would think 5 start hotel parks all luxurious cars at front of hotel but this hotel seems to think parking any car everywere in a scattered way is normal Aygun assured me the car would be fine around the back so i was fine with that - walked in receptionist dealt with me promptly again got into room started unpacking realised no towels so open the door saw room cleaner and said “we need towels” hes reply was “we ran out, we would bring asap” so i still thought its fine start of a holiday although iv driven far from abroad need a shower asap. Again as said its a joke!

Beach: now this is topped me up, THESE PEOPLE HAVE NAMED THEMSELVES “BOYALIK BEACH HOTEL” sorry but iv been coming to turkey for 20years and im turkish myself! Iv seen it all but THIS IS A JOKE OF A BEACH! Dirty, littered service is a joke, beach beds are a joke sorry this is not 5 STAR! PEOPLE FROM NEXT DOOR JUST WALK THRU! HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO LEAVE MY STUFF THERE! NO SECUIRTY NOTHING!

overall:

Security in this hotel is appalling not safe for familys with kids. People can walk in and out at all times from outside Beach is appalling! Entry to hotel from carpark is a complete joke or they have no understanding of running a 5 star hotel especially in Turkey.

Basicly the whole thing is a mess and funny thing is im still here got last few days iv not even bothered to speak to the GM Orhan because once your holiday has been a mess no point he could see this with his own eyes while walking around the hotel all these things a visible.

Horrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!

Me and my family stayed last week at this hotel for a week, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Here are the major issues we encountered:

Terrible Service: The service was appalling. The employees were poorly trained and seemed clueless about basic hospitality. They were unhelpful and often rude. Every day at the pool area they turned on very loud music and we asked every day several times to turn a bit down, because we where unable to have a conversation, neither the baby could have a sleep. They just speak turkish and do not understand you in any other language

Housekeeping Nightmare: Housekeeping ignored our requests and did not clean the rooms properly. Despite multiple complaints, the rooms remained dirty, and amenities were not replenished. We where 4 persons and got every time only 3 towls. We arrived at the hotel during the night at 4 am and informed the hotel two days in advanced that we need to extra beds for our baby and 4 years old son. Nothing was prepared and it took 1 hour until we where able to go to bed. One afternoon i asked 3 times at the reception if they could change our bed, as the baby unfortunatelly throughed up, but 2 days nothing happened.

Exorbitant Drink Prices: The prices for drinks were outrageously high. We felt like we were being robbed every time we ordered a drink. A beer was 9€ a glas of wine 16€.

Bad quality of food: generally food in Turkey is amazing and I never ate that bad before in Turkey at all. Especially not for the prices the hotel is asking for a half board stay

Invoice Mix-up: The hotel staff managed to mix up our invoices. We asked them to correct the invoice before we left, but they did not managed that in 14 hours. After we checked out, they realized they had forgotten to invoice us for a significant amount. Instead of handling it professionally, they resorted to blackmail my sister who stayed a few days longer.

Blackmailing My Sister: My sister stayed longer than we did, and the hotel staff blackmailed her to pay our invoice. They refused to return her luggage until she paid, which was an utterly despicable and unethical move. We will react with legal measurements now.

Overall, this hotel provided a horrific experience from start to finish. I would strongly advise against staying here. Save yourself the headache and choose a...

This place is pretty much a hidden gem. When you see the building from the street side, it doesnt look much but once you get to the hotel you ll see how well located, right by the water. It has a very nice lobby area, a bar & a decent size restaurant. Outside seating is plenty. Pool and beach area is excellent. There is also a spa, mineral pool, massage and etc. Rooms are small but OK. However, decorated with very dated, furniture and extremely uncomfortable mattresses on the beds. Maybe OK for Turkish or European standards but definitely not for US or Canadian luxury hotel standards. I stayed in the hotel almost 1 month, 3x of & on & almost broke my back because where ever I sit or lay down in the room, it felt like im on a rock solid platform. Last time, i had such poor and extremely uncomfortable hotel room like this was in Sheraton Hotel at Frankfurt Airport, aka GESTAPO GUEST HOUSE. Boyalik Hotel needs to spend some money and replace all these horrible mattreses w/good quality, at least medium soft beds. Food quality and service are in general good but it can be improved. As someone who happens to travel the world, for the last 40 years, even during the Covid times, i say, some improvements and staff training, more smiley faces, customer service tips, may take this establishment to a much higher level. Although, it is unfortunate that Turkish people dont smile much & they dont look happy. In hospitality industry most important thing is customer service. Respectful & pleasant group of employees who should know their wages are paid by the customers staying in the hotel will always bring in more business. No customer no pay check! It wont be smart to cut the branch you are sitting on, right?😀

We spontaniously booked Boyalik Beach for our one week stay in Cesme last year and were blown away. We loved the area where the hotel is located, a few minutes to Cesme and Alacati and half an hour to Izmir central if you want to explore a bit further. The food was amazing. The rooms always clear and new towels were provided every day. The staff was very helpful and polite. We preferred the pool to the beach and the dock, but that‘s just prefence. Overall we were very happy and amazed with our stay, so that we‘ve book further 3 weeks there this summer - which we‘re impatently looking forward to. The hotel is suitable for singles, couples and families. It wasn‘t too loud or unbearable and I‘ve never seen someone roll an eye at the children who were exploring the pool and the grounds. All in all, very happy and looking forward to our next stay in June there!

What a nice hotel! I was pleasured by the location, the inside and outside area. Especially for young people and adults I felt very comfortable. I could park my car easily, check in & check out within minutes. You can’t compare this hotel to more international touristic areas like Antalya, here are more natives and so is their building complex kind of smaller. But I’m fine with most of the things: nice rooms with an amazing view, good pool and a complete clean beach. There is also an interior pool which I didn’t use. Only thing they could improve is their gym and I would like to have also more choices at the dinner. Food wasn’t the best but didn’t disappoint at all. Very likely for me to come back. The stuff was friendly - I cannot say anything wrong about the employees over there. See you next time Boyalik
