KALAMATA HOTEL — Hotel in Çeşme

What a hotel! This was our favourite hotel that we stayed in throughout Turkey! We can't rave enough about this hotel. It's beautiful, so nicely maintained, lots of beautiful decor, gorgeous pieces, furniture and nice touches. The staff are INCREDIBLE - so wonderful and helpful and friendly and looked after us - trying to book taxis, explaining things in English, bringing us Turkish tea and being hospitable ( and even showing us magic tricks!!). The pool area is so chilled out, beautiful and vibey that we ended up spending a full day by the pool instead of going to another beach - it was a really relaxing vibe and we loved it - and there was lots of space, sun and comfortable loungers around the pool. Breakfast is a feast, and anything you want, and turkish tea brought out to you all day long. The hotel is in the BEST location - literally a 2 min walk around the corner to the old town and all the shops and restaurants. Our room was comfortable, relaxing, quiet and stunning with great decor. We had a sweet balcony to have tea, and the wifi was strong and worked well. Comfy sleep and great bed - albeit no sheets which we had to ask for ( seems to be a Turkish thing) only thin blankets to sleep under. The hotel is brilliantly located - a 5 minute walk to the busy centre and away from the busy ring road a quiet location.||||The hotel is managed by Hilal who has a background in hospitality management with Marriott - her training shows! We were there at the end of September when the hotel was relatively quiet. Hilal is ably assisted by Kemal, a great chef, and Umesh, her general assistant. We arrived as tourists and left as friends.||||The bedroom was fine for us with two balconies, an efficient shower and whirlpool bath and a king/superking bed, aircon and enough storage (just!) for our 2 week stay.||||The excellent breakfasts were typically Turkish with an option, daily, of eggs cooked 'your way'. Hilal insisted we have dinner at the hotel on one night to sample Kemal's skills - I'm glad we did. Kapidan iceri girdiginiz an huzur veren, kendinizi evinizde gibi hissettiren inanilmaz bir atmosferi var. |Calisanlari cok güleryüzlü ve ilgili, her konuda size yardimci oluyorlar. |Odalar konforlu, yeterince genis ve tertemizdi. Havuzu ve bahcesi tek kelime ile muhtesem. Hersey cok ince bir zevk ile dizayn edilmis ve en kücük ayrintiya kadar düsünülmüs. Genelde hic havuzcu olmamiza ragmen, buranin havuzuna bayildik ve cogu günlerde beachlere gitmek yerine burada vakit gecirdik.|Nar ve zeytin agaclari altinda cok lezzetli ve keyifli bir kahvalti ile güne basliyorsunuz. Konumu harika, Alacati carsisina ve Hacimemise yürüme mesafesinde. |Kisacasi herkese gönül rahatligi ile tavsiye ediyoruz! Kaum zu glauben, aber es gab absolut NICHTS zu bemängeln, für uns war es rundum ein perfektes Hotel und ein wunderschöner Urlaub. |Hier wurde ein unglaubliches Ambiente geschaffen, dass einen entzückt, sobald man die Tür betritt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an so wohlgefühlt, als seien wir zuhause. Dafür haben auch die sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter beigetragen, die immer sehr höflich und zuvorkommend waren. Man konnte sich mit Fragen, Problemen oder Wünschen immer an sie wenden. Wirklich ein großes Lob, denn hier wird Service ganz groß geschrieben!|Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage sind wunderschön gestaltet, wir waren absolut begeistert von dem ganzen Design! Es wurde alles bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Sowohl die Anlage, wie auch die Zimmer waren immer sehr sauber. Der Poolbereich und der Garten sind ein absolutes Highlight. Eine traumhafte Ruheoase! Obwohl wir keine Pool-Liebhaber sind und sonst eher den Strand bevorzugen, haben wir die meisten Tage unseres Urlaubs hier am Pool verbracht, da es uns so gut gefallen hat. |Man fängt den Tag mit einem sehr leckeren und vielfältigen Frühstück an, der im Garten unter Granat- und Olivenbäumen serviert wird. Das war herrlich! |Die Lage ist perfekt. Abseits vom ganzen Trubel, aber in ein paar Gehminuten mittendrin in Alacati und dem wunderschönen Hacimemis. |Wir können BayC wirklich jedem mit bestem...
