Pürlen Alacatı — Hotel in Çeşme

The hotel is old and in a bad state. The internet doesn’t work properly when we told the staff no action was taken. The food is bad, uneaten food is served. The pool is old and dirty. Our bathroom smelt of faeces and the toilet was broken so it didn’t flush properly but they denied it was the toilet and didn’t get it fixed. When we reported this to the hotel manager Deniz she put a filthy cloth on the floor and told us we have to just suck it up and sleep like that. We couldn’t shower or use the toilet for an entire evening and night as the smell got unbearable. We were told that a room would be available but then she gave the room to other people. She made us sleep another night even though we complained. The room they provided to us was not good either. The door handle was broken so the door didn’t lock properly. Also the toilet flush was broken. The bed sheets were also dirty. Again no action was taken from the hotel management. Instead because we complained the hotel manager Deniz was very rude to us and confronted me in an unacceptable way saying her rooms and hotel is fine but we complain too much. The next day they didn’t clean our room and threw our belongings around. We were given towels with big stains on. We left early and went to a different hotel which was much better. We stayed here after being moved from a noisy hotel. Small hotel with pleasant garden and pool. Room was very clean but some floorboards were missing, plugs were loose and electrics needed attention. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good.||On checking out, we believed the sum charged would be 4400tl as evidenced in the photo attached. On arrival home we found the hotel increased the charge to 6000tl which is almost £200 more. The reason for this has not been satisfactorily explained despite asking why. This has left us feeling very dissatisfied with the communication between this hotel and the original hotel with us. We are unhappy and...

Yep I’m writing for Daria Otel in Alacati, Turkey. Enjoying a great location in the town, being near to lots of night clubs, restaurants, bus station, and the traditional Saturday Market this hotel ha lots of advantages that made me feel home. Greatly kind and friendly staff, a helpful and well-English speaking manager, fantastic interior design, delicious breakfasts, very clean and beautiful rooms and a free internet connection and pool are some of its advantages to name a few.
