Elit Hotel — Hotel in Şeyhsinan Mahallesi

We actually stayed here 'by accident'. We had made a Reservation at Divan for our overnight stay, while in transit to IST Airport next day. But, Google Maps had the location of Divan wrong -- on this street "haci Salih Sok" within walking distance of Bus Station. So arriving late (6pm) after long travel day, we were very frustrated to find the Divan non-existent in this locale, and told it was far out of town. With help of some locals, we telephoned Divan and they agreed to cancel our Reservation without charge (that was kind of them); and, after a little looking around, came back to the Elit Otel on this street. Though the entrance doesn't do it justice, inside it looked quite decent, and were shown a room that looked clean and comfortable -- Queen-size bed; large LCD TV, A/C; bathroom with Shower Stall; and price was slightly less than Divan, but included delicious Breakfast Buffet -- which Divan's comarable price did not. Location was great, with lots of eateries, shops, etc. very close by. Indeed, we ate a very good local family-owned Turkish diner directly across the street from the Elit (don't recall name, sorry). Food was really good, service was courteous and welcoming; and were not overcharged. All-in-all a good experience, having elected to stay overnight in Corlu, and found the Elit Otel perfect...

Very miserable and old hotel. Everything needs renovation especially the bathroom. The bathroom is dirty and all in mold. Inside the room is very dark. Everything is broken and old. The elevator didn't working from the first floor. The hot water or even the warm is imaginary. The view of some room windows is to the inside corridor. No sunlight, no fresh air. The breakfast is bad too. The location is good and the give you a free parking space next...

The hotel is at the centre, very good location, close to many streets with shops, cafes and food! The apartments are very, very big and comfortable. They need some repair and better cleaning but at all (price-quality) I am satisfied. It is good if you are there for work. People at the reception were very kind!
