I booked this hotel as I was attending the Champions League Final. They contacted my 7 days before I was due to stay saying they had to cancel the booking because I had paid the wrong price (basically they wanted me to pay a LOT more because it was the Champions League Final). By this time it was too late to find alternative accommodation so I had no choice but to rebook with them at the more expensive price. They agreed to give me a refund. I am still waiting for it. They say they have authorised it with Hotels.com (who I booked through) but Hotels.com say they cannot contact anyone at By Trio to get the refund authorised. I have screen shots of all communications with By Trio and Hotels.com. They promise the refund but I am still waiting. ||The hotel itself is very new, small, intimate, nicely appointed, comfortable, clean and everything you need. It's not in the "best" area of Istanbul (basically in a business/manufacturing kind of area so there's very little around in terms of restaurants etc) but I get the impression there is an amount of development going on so the area will no doubt improve.
