Retro H&S — Hotel in Bakırköy

First of all, they were trying to scam me. So I highly do not recommend you this hotel. I left this hotel and got a message from hotel manager. She told me there's a burnt sofa in the room and I have to pay for it. But I have proofs that it wasn't me. I made photos and videos when I moved in. Anyway, she told that she is going to contact the authorities. Well, I did the same.

Secondly, the hotel is awful and let me explain why. I want to assure you that this complaint not only because of the attempt to scam me. All building must be repaired. Just look at the pictures and videos that attached to this review. the floor is broken; walls are dirty and cracked; the valves are leaking; furniture in kitchen barely closes; fan in my bathroom didn't work; I changed 2 rooms because in one of them I always heard the noise of generator from outside, and another one room has a problem with window.

They don't speak English so you always have to contact manager to fix your problems. For example, it took me 3 days to get access to the gym and swimming pool because they forgot to left in my room special card for it. Swimming pool is always cold, the front of the building looks like a junkyard and this hotel not the cheapest in Istanbul.

Traveling on a limited budget for work, i was surprised to find a place with this budget range, the staff are excellent, they know exactly what they are doing, the facilities are super amazing, the place is sparkling clean, had perfect heating options, the rooms are very well maintained, the place smells like a 5 stars hotel, the host Irem was super cooperative, we requested to be moved from the original room they put us in because we couldn't control the heat and she instantly took all the measures to fulfill our request. The technology they use with doors and locks is quite impressive. I've spent years traveling for work and entertainment and the place totally exceeded my expectations, a very very rare find when you compare value for money, i would definitely book...

Great place to stay in, close to the groceries and also other shops and the coffee shop. Also the area is nice and close to the airport. I stayed in Oct 2023 for 14 nights and this is my second time, the 2 bedrooms apartment is spacious and clean. The housekeep is great and the ladies are so lovely they just want to make sure you are happy while staying here. Irem is great she always attend to My requests via whatsapp and she speaks English very well. The building has secuirty 24/7 and is secured well. I would recommend this place to anyone that want to stay...
