Read moreIf I could give negative stars, I would. Do NOT stay here! We stayed only one night and it was a disaster from the start. First, they gave us a key to a room that was already occupied — with someone else’s belongings inside. Imagine the risk if something had gone missing! Their excuse was that it was the staff’s "first day," but given the rest of the experience, I don’t believe that explanation at all. When we finally got to our room, things didn’t get any better. The “land view” balcony was literally blocked by a wall. I was worried they might even give our key to someone else, so I tried to secure the room, but the extra lock on the main door was loose and did not feel very secure, and the balcony door couldn’t even be locked. The room itself was dirty, full of dust, the air conditioner didn’t work, and the bathroom had no ventilation. I tried to turn on the reading light and it fell off, the other reading light did not work either, and the light of the make up mirror was faulty. This place felt unsafe, unhygienic, and completely mismanaged. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. I tried to send them an email about those things and they...
Read moreI recently stayed there for a week. 90€ for a night for a quality I could get in a 2-3 star hotel. There was one person at the reception that quite literally gave me a panic attack at 4 in the morning. Thank god I didn't see him again until when I was leaving. The lobby doesn't have ac. Now I don't mind the heat for a few minutes but that's where we had breakfast so it was difficult to tolerate considering the summers are hot and humid in izmir. The breakfast wasn't really good also. The room had nothing special. The toilet was broken. There was one elevator. I was told there's no one staying in the rooms close to mine but I could literally hear people entering them. I could hear them play music and even though smoking was not allowed, I could smell it at the same time every night. And when I called the reception, they said the rooms were empty. The only positive thing was probably the lady that worked on that floor. Really sweet and considerate. I lived in izmir for about 2-3 years before this and I had business to take care of so the location was my first priority. But overall, it's not a good hotel....
