We stayed at the Wyndham Grand in Izmir in September 2025. On the whole the stay was very enjoyable, but not perfect. The hotel is rated 5 Star. Some aspects of our stay warranted a 5 star rating, in other areas the hotel was slightly lacking. Check in was a little bit awkward. We had just arrived in Izmir and gone straight to the hotel as it had been a late flight. We had no Turkish lira, planning to get some from an ATM the next day. The hotel required a deposit, for the room and my card didnt authorise on the first attempt. Whilst the lady on reception was very friendly, she also made us feel uncomfortable, standing in reception trying to get a credit card to authorise. We are frequent travellers and this has happened before and previously we've been casually told to come back the next day to sort it out. On this occasion, we had to go through our luggage to find another card. There was nothing wrong with Room 1510, but it was a little uninspiring. The air conditioning was quite an old system and didn't cool the room enough (we are British and used to the cold). One of the plug sockets was dead and there was a hole in one of the curtains. They are all small things and they didn't impact our stay at all, but they shouldn't happen in a 5 Star hotel. On the bright side the bed was comfortable with a great pillow menu. The bathroom was slightly dated, but everything worked well and the gels, shampoos and conditioners were good quality. Housekeeping wasn't fantastic. On day one no coffees teas or sugars were left. When this happened again on day two I spoke to the our housekeeper outside of our room and he told me to ring the housekeeping reception. Whilst I understand a language barrier, I think he should have made a bigger effort to understand a simple request. So those are the issues, now how about some good stuff. Reception very kindly offered us a 14.00 checkout, as we had a late plane to catch. This meant we could spend longer in the hotels amazing outdoor pool, which most definitely is 5 Star. The pool was clean, the sunbeds were plentiful and the area had a nice chilled vibe. The spa area was also very impressive, with several differe nt saunas and steam rooms, plus an indoor pool and lots of spa treatments. And the hotel gym was also large, spacious and well equipped. Service in general was polite and friendly. Would we stay at this hotel again? Tough question. The hotel was located on the coast in a lovely spot, but some way away from the main Izmir attractions. Obviously you can use taxis and Uber etc or there was actually a bus stop outside the hotel, which connected to the metro, but it would have been nice to be closer to the centre. That said, I can almost forgive anything when I think about the wonderful pool at the Wyndham Grand.

Just avoid this hotel as their air condition system is an absolute rubbish. Central Air con has a severe problem specially in late spring and all summer. It is not a 5 star hotel because of their air con system. Imagine paying au$150 per night and keep debating with their crews and technicians to provide that your room is not liveable by all means. 29.5 degrees centigrade at 5pm was like a hot tub bath. Can’t even imagine how miserable was that. After so many discussion finally been offered to upgrade to the suit studio at level 17. The crew named as Mehmat was a nice guy and he did his best to accommodate us properly,i do appreciate him. But for the two first night we been suffering a lot. He just offered us complementary nuts, fruits and juice. But the nut are very old and taste very bad, fruits are just took from the breakfast table. Again not like a 5 star hotel. Positive things: 1. Breakfast was really amazing, you can find whatever you can imagine to eat as your breakfast. 2. Gym , pool and thermal bath are really magnificent and i really liked them. 3. Staff are fully trained and professional except the guy in the picture. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay in this hotel due to their air conditioner problem.

One of our favorite hotels in all aspects, especially accessibility. We stayed for three days, as we did last year. Our room was wheelchair accessible on the 8th floor with a view of the city, hills, and the sea. The attached photos clearly demonstrate the accessibility features, making further explanation unnecessary. The only drawback was the low height of the bed, which made the transfer from the bed to the wheelchair slightly difficult for my partner, who has weak hands. The spa is the most enjoyable part of our stay and is fully accessible, except for the outdoor swimming pool. They provide a portable seat to assist in transferring a disabled person into and out of the pool. Unfortunately, the thermal spa was under maintenance and was closed during our visit. I had an hour-long holistic massage with an Indonesian lady named Budi, which made my stay much more pleasant. However, the hotel entrance doesn't have a proper ramp. İt is just a bump over the ground that my partner needed help to get over it. There is a shopping mall five minutes away from the hotel and many restaurants and cafes around the beach in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will book again.

The best Hotel stay i ever had anywhere in Turkey, which we visit 3-4 times a year for business. I was there in October with my one year old and my husband. We were picked up at the airport Izmir by the hotel shuttle. Starting from absolutely every single member of the staff being wonderfully child friendly (talking to the little one, helping to carry things, finding lost toys and forgotten pacifiers, walking around the room with and after him allowing mommy and daddy to have a meal or a coffee in peace for once,a baby sitter that stayed in the room so I could use the spa with my husband to organizing a child seat for the car and so on).All this was done without us asking for this kind of attention, the staff would literally tell us to sit down and enjoy the meal and relax...The food in the club area was always fantastic and available from 6 AM to 11PM. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices and everything was fresh. The staff here went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing and relaxing experience. The spa was just heavenly especially the hot spring. Saunas, hammams, massages, fitness room and so much more I didn't want to leave. The room was a good big size with a fantastic view of the ocean right before us. Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall where you can get anything you need, including a little children's theme park. Outside the hotel are many cafes and restaurants where you can smoke a shisha, take a walk along the ocean and bustles with life, music and people. The only tiny downside was the housekeeping. We had taken plates to the room for example and those weren't cleared out for 3 days. Fruit had been put in the room as a welcome and after 7 days the same (old and spoilt) fruit plate was still sitting there. That was mildly annoying, because it gave my perfect experience something to nag about. I give this establishment 5 stars I'd give them 10 if I could, because as a mother I was able to unwind, enjoy and not worry if anyone is being annoyed of my child...

15 Şubat 2025 'de 1 geceliğine eşimle konuk olduk. Deneyimimi ve notlarımı aktarayım.

Ay başından rezervasyon yapıp ödememizi yaptık. Fiyatlar EUR kurundan.
