Excellent hotel/room with great staff. Mr Dogtu helped us check at 4am and still managed to smile - we were tired! The hotel is a bit unusual in the layout as reception is on the top floor and the restaurants, pools, gym, and rooms are on the lower floors. Some rooms have a pool view but ours was a garden view room 703. The room was spacious with an American style fridge freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, crockery and utensils. free bottled water was in the room and updated everyday by the kind yet super-efficient cleaners. There was a corner sofa , coffee table , dining table with 4 chairs and layout like you would expect in a studio flat. There was a outdoor area to the room with seating and table and an airer which joined the queen bedroom to the living area. There were 2 x walk-in shower bathrooms with all toiletries provided and updated daily. Bathrooms, kitchen and rooms were clean and spacious. Safe is in the room. Next day we had the pleasure of meeting manager Mr Ibrahim who has a wonderful smile, attitude and attentended to our every needs. Thank you so much. Special mention to Ms Burcu who is the guest relation manager available everyday and has a whatsapp number to answer your queries. She really helped us plan our holiday and really we needed more days to see more of beautiful Bodrum. She helped us arrange to get to Midtown Mall, Bodrum clothes bazaar ( only on Tuesdays), Cemel beach which is very nice ( make sure to go to Akpinar restaurant and try their pancake and say Hi to Tejun and Alex/Jamal. Ms Burcu arranged further scuba diving, Bodrum Carsi, Oasis mall including the mosque right next to it amongst trips to restaurants/tourist attractions. We tried the hotel restaurant and the food and service was great , not sure why more people didn't frequent it! The taxi arranged by hotel normally take card, but returns normally requires cash of between 200-400 TKL per trip. There are meters and I normally rounded up to the nearest pound equivalent. Some taxi drivers speak a lot and are fun - try asking for Mehmet/Jimmy the homeless! We took Ms Burcu advice and always used taxis as the local municipal buses are quite overcrowded and with heat of around 35 degrees! One night we felt like kebab - surprising it is not on the hotel menu, and Mr Majid helped us order through the Turkish version of Ubereats - you could pay by card or cash at your room! Thanks to him also for such great help when we needed! Don't forget Ali in the restaurant as can cook your lovely fresh omelette every morning! He has a great attitude. Try to relax and try to keep your cool you will enjoy the people and culture - even if you think the taxi driver shouldn't be doing turns into oncoming traffic and using a mobile! I am already...
Read moreWow what a great find. Stayed May 11th - 18th. Went to Turkey to have some quite major dental work and had read reviews that this place was relaxing, was also near dentist. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and the staff had no hesitation in going above and beyond to make our stay a special one. We did have an issue with the location of our room on arrival, it was in a quiet part of the complex but literally had trees and bushes within inches of the balcony blocking any view. Although the room was fabulous we asked to move as I knew I would be spending a few days in the appt/on the balcony whilst I recovered from dental work. The reception team were more than accommodating and gave us a free upgrade to a pool view room. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily, with both fresh towels and bottles of water provided every day. The kitchens in the apartment are kitted out really well with pretty much everything you need including a microwave, oven and full sized fridge with freezer section. Towels for the pool are available from the Spa. Pool areas are kept spotless and there was no problem getting a lounger no matter what time of day you went to the pool. We had quite a variation in weather, some beautiful sunny days but also one day with 50 mile and hour winds. There is a beach close by few minutes walk but its not the greatest, although we went down to the beach we never spent the day there, there was no need as Jasmine Pools and beds etc were perfect. Especially having the choice of 2 pools. One with bar, music and a bit more going on and a 'quiet' pool. There is a small supermarket about 3-4 min walk from Jasmin which has the basics, bread, milk etc. There is not much else around outside of the complex so for restaurants its either a taxi or long hot walk to the harbour. Taxi was approx £4 (with tip) each way and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We picked Jasmin for location (near dentist), high standards and relaxation and it met all our needs/requirements and more. Well done to all the staff as they are the ones that make this such a special place to stay. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing in Bodrum then this absolutely is the place to stay. We are booked to return for 10 days in October and am counting down the days and hoping we feel up to using the Spa on our next visit as it...
Read moreThe hotel was very good. The rooms were new and clean. It was very good to have a room with kitchen. Welcome, reception, room service, waiters, all staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very good and there was no parking problem.
Since we were in a cold climate, we could not experience the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and spa center were fantastic. The massage was great, the steam room was great, the temperature of the pool water, the cleanliness of the changing room and showers, we were very satisfied with everything.
I have two negative comments about the hotel;
1- Extra charge for the indoor swimming pool. We saw the indoor swimming pool in the photos and that's why we chose this hotel. There was no information about the extra charge at the time of booking. Thank you to the hotel staff, they helped us when we told them this complaint. They did not charge for the pool. But at least guests staying with bed and breakfast should not be charged for the pool. For example, when they made the pool free for us, we spent that money for a massage and we saw that the Spa has a very nice massage service. If we had paid for the pool we probably would have given up on the massage.
The restaurant food and breakfast was not excellent. My score is 6/10, which is low by the standards of such a nice hotel. Still, it might be better to choose a place inside the hotel overlooking the pool or Bodrum view rather than looking for a place to eat outside. Menu prices in the restaurant are very cheap.
To summarize; I would definitely...
