Folie Restaurant & Sea — Restaurant in Bodrum

Okay, I will have to explain why I rate it only with 3 stars such an amazing and outstanding place in such an amazing location. The problem was a waitress, the tallest one. All the other staff were absolutely amazing, we ordered tuna and she brought the wrong dish.

Apparently it was a misunderstanding but the problem was the way she handled it.

She blamed us and said that we had to take the other dish without offering any other alternative.

This is an extremely poor way to handle such a misunderstanding in such an amazing place where are they charge very high prices which by the way to me are justified and but the arrogance of this lady that was completely inappropriate for such a place like this. You cannot just blame the client for a misunderstanding, first of all because it was not our fault but even if it were a misunderstanding then you have to at least propose something else.

Note that we hadn’t touched the plate when we told the waitress that it was the wrong dish.

The worst tourist scam ever! We’ve had the worst experience so far during our visit in Bodrum. The atmosphere seemed lovely in pictures, on their instagram, so we have been very excited to come here. We weren’t notified about the rules, prices and reservation details beforehand. When we arrived, they tried to place us on the sand area even if we told them we wanted to be on the pier. Then, one of the staff told us they usually charge 100 euros for each (spending limit not included), which is way over the normal price that we paid in other beaches and hotels which have better service and atmosphere. We didn’t have any euros with us as we’ve not been notified and when they said they have to talk to the manager about this situation, they went over to meet other customers and ignored us completely. My friend and i came to dine and ordered 1 bottle Chardonnay and 1 bottle of Rosé. Halfway through the bottle of Rosé we started dancing. I remember because we just ordered that Rosé to pair with our main meal. I started to look for my friend and when i went back to our table. Everything was gone. They packed up our untouched main dishes including our bottles. They did not give us a chance to eat our meals. When i found my friend in the toilets i had to take care of her. The waiters then were already harassing me to pay for the bill while i was panicking about my friend. Only the next day i checked the bill and realised we were billed wrongly. I reached out to explain but they insisted that we opened a bottle. That sounds very unfair and i feel like they took advantage of 2 drunk girls.
