Well I'm sorry to have to write this. As there are so many good reviews about this place I have to give my honest opinion. We went there as a party of four and arrived a little early. We were seated in a lovely table with amazing views that's the good part. We ordered 2 t bone steaks a rib eye steak and chicken salt and chilli. After waiting over an hour our food came. Tbones were of a good size but we ordered medium well done. 1 was rare and the other not far off that. We had asked for lettuce and onion only for 1 of the salads. We called the waitress over to advise the steak was not cooked to our order. We were told it was impossible for a medium well done tbone steak as there was 3 cuts on it. Actually there are 2. She took the steak away and the salad was some lettuce with the stalk and half an onion thickly cut. The chips were not chips but roast potatoes and a little hard in the middle. By this time the rice and potatoes accompaniments were stone cold. The steak came back raw again. We sent it back. By this time the rib eye was alo raw in the middle and the other bone was also raw in parts.the chicken had no flavour too. 3 times we returned the steak for it to be returned unchanged and raw. We did get a round of free drinks by an apology and was then told they were 1 chef down. They did redeem themselves a little by taking 1 steak off the bill. A wonderful restaurant woth incredible views. Fabulous staff. We hadn't booked and the restaurant was fully booked but the lovely staff said that if we qere prepared to wait about 10 mins and could vacate our table by a certain time they would accommodate us. Suited us and so we went to the great rooftop and aat with a drink watching the most on reliable sunset whilst we waited for our table.

The food was excellent. Qe had mezzo for two to start, I had the 'plank chicken' and my daughter had the curried halloumi. Both meals were delicious. Mine was served qoth duchess potatoes and fresh vegetables and the chicken had a great mushroom and cream sauce (I'm not doing it justice here). My daughter's curry was unusual in that the spinach bed was curried and the gallium was spiced but it was dry rather than the traditional curries we're used to. She said it was the best ever.

Thus was certainly the nicest meal we had during our stay and was matched with friendly and efficient service. I would definitely return (making a booking next time.e) and qould thoroughly recommend to...

After recommendations and reviews about excellent location and views, brilliant service and top class food we paid a visit! And true, the location and sea view is just perfect and the service very attentive! Sadly I could not say the same for the food. A dated menu and presentation, parsley sprinkled all over the plate and tomato roses on wilted lettuce. My biggest problem was the quality Of the cooking. My partner had lamb shank, grey, fatty and very tough, and the plate looked a mess. My own order was for medium rare steak with mushroom sauce! A bench mark for me has always been how well a medium rare steak is cooked! Mine was well rare verging on blue in the centre and cold! The mushroom sauce had slices across the full diameter of the mushroom thus impossible to spoon over the steak! It was a great disappointment after all I had been told.
