Shah hotel — Hotel in Bodrum

We were a party of 11, 4 couples and 1 single who stayed at this absolute gem of a hotel for 3/4 nights before and after a Gulet Cruise. This hotel is beautiful with everything one could need as a home from home. The bedrooms are all unique, have air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. They are very clean and well looked after. Some have kitchenettes, others fridges and seated areas. Most of the rooms have an outside area where guests can sit, escape the sun or enjoy a drink. Breakfast is fresh Turkish products, all served at a lovely outdoor area close to the pool. What makes this hotel extra special are the staff who honestly can't do enough to make your time here as special as they possibly can. We were all welcomed with open arms, as if we were long lost friends. They were prepared to try and meet all our requests including restaurant reservations, currency exchange, advice re local points of interest and booking long distance taxi's at short notice. Always smiling, always on hand to help! Just perfect. The beach, sea, many restaurants and bars, shops and harbour of Bitez are just steps away from this beautiful courtyard hotel enjoying an immaculate pool and gardens but it remains a peaceful haven with uninterrupted calm and quiet. Absolutely lovely little Gem in heart of Bitez. There are varied sized rooms, we selected a basic one however, you can book larger suite type rooms as well (which we will do next time) The pool area is very relaxing and clean. Although you are literally meters away from the beach you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle. Very beautifully lit at night time as well. Breakfast is Turkish style and they offer cheeses, bread, olives, boiled and fried eggs, fresh honey and homemade little breadcakes from Bitez village and fresh cheese from the village also. There was issues trying to make payment for the room via debit card so would recommend trying to pay cash instead upon arrival.|My friend and I had a very relaxing time and just what you need away from the stresses of work at home! |Beds are comfortable and rooms cleaned well, you only have to ask for something to be replenished and its done very quickly.|Will definitely book again and the staff here are very welcoming and tentative to your needs.
