Quarante Hotel — Hotel in Bozcaada

Although we planned everything months ago and recommended our friends to come with us, the whole vacation turned into a disaster from the first moment that we arrived at the hotel. We’ve stayed in so many hotels so far via booking.com etc. all around Europe and Turkey but we’ve never seen such a disrespectful owner. She addressed us like our boss or teacher in a very bully manner, blamed us with leaving our rooms untidy and dirty (which was not true!!), yelled us among other guests like (‘my personnel doesn’t have to collect your clothes from the every corner of the room’) this was not true, as well not to mention fact that we did not request housekeeping at the beginning. When we tried to defend ourselves, she confessed that she had taken the photos of our room and special staff while we were absent, WHICH WAS NOT LEGAL!! Quarante Teras is part of Quarante Hotel, it is a small house with 3 rooms and a beautiful terrace with a nice panorama right in the heart of town. 2-3 minutes walk to restaurants, 5 minutes walk to public transport. The room i stayed in was rather small but cute and very clean, with airconditioning. Breakfast is very good, it was served in the main hotel which is 2 minutes walk.
