We booked 3 nights and left after 2. The floating bathers platform was non-existent due to bad weather before we arrived. No dining tables on the other wooden pier but instead bathers from other nearby hotels and apartments filled the sunbeds which had been transferred to it and left overnight on it - providing they bought a beer or snack served to them there during their day long sunbathing. Breakfast in the dining area overlooking the pier was average. The snack we tried at lunch was just a beefburger and frozen chips (no salad etc) which tasted average but unappetising. The worse thing was our room for which we payed £80 per night (breakfast included). It had a 12" balcony which could not be accesses due to the door to it being jammed up against the bed! The room was so small! We banged our legs frequently just trying to negotiate around the bed. Squeazed in was one small wardrobe and one bedside cabinet (one the other side of the bed was a small stool). The beach is a short thin strip. Hotel is at the top end of Altinkum away from the good restaurants. It may be a little better in mid-season when the bathers can use the floating raft to sunbathe and guests can use the pier out to sea for a romantic room, but the hotel itself lacks atmosphere, our room was definitely NOT worth even £40 per night, and the shower was antiquated and if you are a little overweight you would struggle to manouvre in it. This is Not just a basic *2 and does not live up to its photo or hype. I do not recommend it if you expect more than a visit to sunbathe. We travelled from a another resort for a brak in our 2 week holiday but was very...

Read moreI stayed in Room 204 from 27/4 - 01/05/25. The spacious room had a very large, comfortable double and one single bed. The sea view from the front facing large windows was spectacular. The bathroom was very big and modern. The balcony faced into a tiny side street where the entrance to the hotel was, along with the restaurant and stairs down to the private beach and fabulous pontoon (Cuba Beach) that just opened that day. Michael, the manager, is an asset to this place as he is so approachable and nothing is a problem. Mehmet, one of the waiters on the pontoon and restaurant was really nice too, always smiling. All of the staff were lovely. |I stayed here alone and never once felt scared and will definitely be back, especially to that exceptional room. Breakfast was also included...
