Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Izmit — Hotel in İzmit

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip in January. For price, quality, cleanliness, features, and staff that make you feel welcome, there won't be a better hotel to stay in this whole city. Whether it be business or social, everything and everyone is catered for. Lovely rooms, good food and a great gym with spa treatments available are just some of the features that make this hotel a standout.||||The best feature for me was the North Shield. A bar area which wouldn't look out of place back home due to its heritage style decorations, surrounded in a good old pub atmosphere. That being said, the North Shield wouldn't be as good as it is, if it weren't for the great staff working there. Berkan, Seda and Ali are extremely good at their jobs and deserve recognition for making the experience as good as it was. Very friendly, helpful, and would even listen to me when I had drank a few (they deserve a medal for this alone). I encourage anyone who stays at the hotel to visit the North Shield to experience their great hospitality. The hotel should reward their staff for their hard work and endeavour. Keep up the good work team !!!||||Look forward to staying again. I wouldn't be staying anywhere else...

If your tour is using this hotel for staying you are out of luck.. U get a very basic (inexpensive) dinner ,followed by an avg breakfast . u get a divided room that's usually reserved for Families with children but in that room they place someone else just because u paid less by coming here with a tour. And that reduction in price reflects itself right in your face.. When I'm deciding to go on a tour ,of course the name of the hotel matters ,its stars;rating more so. So yes u get a decent 2 stars for your service and ur selection of room for us.. Oh by the way it's just a dormitory style dinner/breakfast ,u have to sit in a table that's shared with others.. Don't think I need to write more ..hope the hotel management takes this problems into consideration.. As once a leader said , for more...

The best hotel in the area for business travel. The hotel has a very premium feel around it and the rooms are immaculate. Good room service and corridors regularly maintained. Breakfast is very fresh and plenty of options each day.||The north shield bar is a great feature of the hotel and a special mention to Berkan, Seda and Ali who are a real credit to the hotel. They were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for my colleague and I during our business trip, always looking to go above and beyond in their service.|I would like to say that the staff in the north shield work long hours and from what I could see didn’t have the opportunity for proper breaks in their shift away from the bar, this is the only improvement I would recommend.||Really looking forward to my next...
